You're making it obvious that you haven't been listening. Kap said 99% of police officers are doing a great job protecting our society, however the ones that dont should be held accountable.
Police departments themselves preach this, the only thing from Kap that I completely disagree with is that when they shoot someone they're on holiday, that's nonsense as they are stressing over loosing their livelihoods.
However police brutality is just a part of the issue, they're also trying to bring awareness that the justice system currently punishes people who commit the same crimes differently, and disproportionately higher against black people.
Unfortunately the whole system is set up for certain people to fail, back to Richie James, being a young black kid from Sarasota you need to be exceptional to succeed, being a young white kid from Surburbia you just have to be acceptable.
I haven't been listening? Kap wearing socks depicting police officers as pigs and donating money to a group that honors a cop killer is more than enough to classify Kap as ignorant. And there aren't laws that help whites get jobs over minorities are there? But there are laws that help minorities get jobs over whites despite being less qualified in many cases. I don't think that's right. Best person should get job regardless of race. And are there cases where people get charged more harshly than others? Yeah. Is it a system that is designed just to keep blacks and minorities in jail or are blacks committing a larger percentage of crimes? What incentive is there for there to be a systemic oppressive justice system that just targets minorities unjustly and charges them with far harsher sentences than other people? Just seems like a victim mentality. The reality is that blacks unfortunately commit most of the crime despite making up like 13% of the population. The problem is within impoverished neighborhoods and the answer is getting these people out of poverty so they are not committing so many crimes.

Yes, no kneeling on couches...unless you are invited to do so!

Yeah I think Kap made it pretty clear he hates all cops while speaking to elementary age school kids and telling them cops were out to get them, and that they are oppressed by the law. This fool James follows along the same line and I hope he suffers the same fate as Kap and Reid.
Protest on your own time, not mine....as a consumer I choose to not see that when I tune in to watch a football game. Yes the world is an effed up place sometimes for some people, and some more than others, for lots and lots of reasons and rarely so simple as "he's a racist". I deal with enough BS from this world 6 days a week, forgive this consumer if I prefer to spend my Sundays in NFL bliss instead of continuing to worry about all the effed up s**t this world can and does provide the other 6 days of the week.

As a consumer, you only have the right to stop watching. As a fan, I would much rather that happen than James being out of the league because he has a different opinion than you.

LOL! I'm retired so...wahhh! Oh, what was I complaining about?
Edit: I was a teacher for much of my life and if I had kneeled during the anthem I would have been tarred and feathered!

I sincerely feel sorry for people who get so riled up by someone choosing to kneel during the anthem, anyone who thinks their country is perfect is a moron.
Nothing is perfect and people are entitled to express that opinion.
The notion that people will support felons and abusers but not peaceful protesters is so sad.

The issue is when they protest. If you walked into your doctor's office and the nurses when all on there knees what would you think? ... That they were 'head' nurses? Oh never mind, not a great example. But if you walk into a bank and the bank teller starts protesting inequality, the owner of the bank (or any other private business) will not be happy because it's bad for business. They are paid to do a job, and the business owner has a right to not hire them if they are hurting their business.
Players have a right to protest
Owners have a right to not hire people who protest on the job
Fans have a right to not want to have young naive kids protest when they tune into a football game.

Well as you can't follow English's reasonable request, I'll take this back to Richie James.
If he came in and lit up pre-season and took Trent Taylor's job and got 800 yards as a rookie, would you support him less because he decided to take a knee during the anthem?
Would you cheer? Would you boo?

Rich James is going to be a baller! Him and Taylor play way bigger than they are and almost invite contract. I can't wait to watch #82.
