problem for him is how "stacked" our WR group is. Pettis needs to play, he's gonna get his chances because he was drafted so high. Taylor really hasn't played poorly, i doubt he loses a lot snaps in the slot.
unless he just completely looks unworldly, he's gonna be a guy who gets maybe 10 snaps a game. and if he is the real deal, that sucks because that's not helping him grow.

I'm hoping this staff is not afraid to play people over guys that are drafted higher or "highly touted" (Ward, Armstead).

He'll be the primary back up to Taylor and I'll bet he'll get plenty of snaps because Taylor is going to have a hard time staying healthy.

Agreed, the WR corps is very deep, I think Aldrick Robinson is decent and would make most teams, but he wouldn't make it for me.
Was impressed by James, but was expecting that kind of performance, kid can definitely play.

He appears to be ahead of Pettis in the rotation, he actually saw action against the starters. I didn't see Pettis until Beathard was under center. Could be mistaken.

With WR Trent Taylor out, why did you have WR Richie James Jr. as the slot guy? What has he done to earn that?
