what Shanny needs to do is to control the HARD on he has towards Trent and use James the way he would use Trent on offense.. for sure, this will be a SUCCESS!!!

I don't know. That slot spot requires a mental toughness more than anything.

People are forgetting Trent Taylor led all of college football in yards 2 years ago. That's no easy feat even in a great offensive system. He is a really good player in the slot a 3rd down machine that helps jimmy g a lot

yup, its good to see that he had two options to throw to and I'd like to give some kudos to the oline holding up long enough for that route to develop.

Agreed this guy needs to play more, he underrated for sure by the staff but always making plays

Taylor will be back soon and will have his spot in the slot as Garoppolo's safety blanket. Having James gives the offense more versatility and the ability to attack all over the field.
Having both Taylor and James is huge as they have different skillsets that can be utilized by Shanahan.
