Not fully the same. While Reid is better at SS than Kap is at QB, there are not 32 QBs in the league better than him. Now if one wants to say he isn't worth what the media attention will be, I can kind of understand that.

Way to go Eric. You earned it. Not certain what country you thought you were in, but it sure as hell is not the free country that is advertised. Assuming you have not run afoul of the law your freedom is based upon your economic status, nothing else. Should listen to George Carlin (paraphrasing): "Rich people don't give a f**k about any of us, regardless of your skin tone." That being the case, when you are at work let's just keep it about work.

No

No.
He's earned it but this is also a scheme by the nfl to avoid guilt regarding the Kaep collusion case. Personally, the nfl did them both wrong but Kaep also depended on legs rather than his arm.
collusion if you don't sign em, collusion if you sign em.

They didn't do Reid wrong. He was just too stubborn to take a 1 year prove it deal which he'd have to do anyways after getting benched here so he sued. Eventually he woke up and earned a new deal.

Benched? I don't remember that. The Niners did him dirty because they gave up on him. They prolly had some sort of resentment with Reid over being one of Kaep's loyal spokesman on the issue of racism and injustice. I say this considering what they made him do, asking him to play LB and all this other stuff and he was playing hurt and got forced out the lineup, I didn't see it as benched. The front office is trying to find that "Safety Guy" but if he were on the roster he'd be the best one. We thought it was Colbert, now we're on Harris (which I think he's a stud) but dang man we'll see what happens to get the best 11 on the field. A secondary of Reid, Sherman, Thomas and Moore looks really good to me, but that's wishful thinking.

He was rated as the 53rd best safety in football so let's not act like he's tearing it up. He did show he's a starter though.

We didn't do him dirty. The team switched schemes and they felt Taart was closer to Chancellor than Reid was. Reid was then switched to will lb. But you are right it's been a mess on our end as well finding some safeties.

Good for him.
He ends up being the big winner in this. Paid on the field and off the field.

I have no problem with that. He was respectful and thoughtful in his response to the early questions about the protest. He misread the FA market but eventually got a contract. (It didn't hurt that David Tepper is a STRONG critic of Trump) Got a new contract and his share of the settlement. Good for him.

Yes

Edit - wouldn't say above avg, but good enough to be a role player.

Why is Eric Reid mad at Jay Z? Reid works for and gets paid by the NFL? If he's so mad at the NFL why is he still doing business with them?
