Nobody wants your money Jed. We want justice. We've always wanted justice. Y'all are truly diluted. https://t.co/wWLEpDF3nt

"Nobody wants your money Jed"! Really? I bet there are a large number of people who have a desperate need of his money.
Including Eric Reid...who certainly had the option of retiring if he didn't care about money if he felt the owner didn't support their cause.
I had it out on his twitter with a few folks. It was great to see Torrey Smith come in and say how cool Jed was about everything. Reid's response comes off super sour grapes. Jed can't arrest those other cops or prosecute them. He can't magically end racism or police brutality. Saying nobody wants his money and implying how York didn't care about their message is not helping anything.
I also find it highly hypocritical for Kap or Reid to play the nobody cares about your money, money isn't everything. While it's true, money isn't going to fix everything then why did Kap and Reid take money from the NFL? Why did Kap turn down the Denver trade BEFORE his protest(which is what I keep reminding people who act like we didn't keep him only cuz of his protest...how can they claim that when we tried to get rid of him before the protest?) only because Denver asked him to take a pay cut?
Call me crazy but I would think going to play for the defending SB champs with a lot more visibility, prime time games would've been a much better way to spread his message versus sticking with the 49ers, a weaker roster, new HC and having to fight for teh starting job with Blaine Gabbert.
I respect that they risked their careers to stand up/kneeled for something they believed in and it sucks that the message got lost(which IMO is another reason why I think Jed could've supported the message but not the delivery of it) I still know people who don't know wtf Kap was kneeling for because most of the media covered the "49ers QB kneels" and not the interviews where he explained why.
I respect that but I'm tired of the narrative being changed about how the 49ers treated these guys. End of the day if Kap was as talented as Pat Mahomes he'd still be in the league.
