How much money has he donated to the cause? Calling out people when you yourself haven't donated or done s**t besides whine about stuff? Cry about being blackballed and file lawsuit over it, but it ain't about money, and then proceed to sign with the Panthers. Did he drop out of the lawsuit or play during the lawsuit in which he claimed he wasn't signed due to being blackballed? Sorry for the rant fellas, this guy just gets on my f**king nerves

It wouldn't surprise me if Shanalynch didn't resign him after 2017 more cuz he didn't fit their culture than his playing ability. Meaning, his level of play wasn't so elite to trump him not really jiving with locker room.

He wants change and then b***hes when a team or person trys to promote it help change. So what does he really want besides Kaepernick a job. He seems more about Kaepernicks career than about real change at the ground level. I for one am sick of is endless b***hing and moaning and I too think Kaepernick deserves a real opportunity in the NFL but right now it is about real social change and to stop racial injustice.

He's donated but not sure if it was anything substantial
I saw this article...which to me makes him look like an even bigger hypocrite.

"Nobody wants your money Jed"
Meanwhile he's not going to stick with his protest cuz he wants a job with the NFL...

f**k Reid. Who cares what York did in the past. He's trying to make a difference now. Is Reid saying it's too late? lmao

$10,000 to sickle cell anemia foundation. Don't know how that helps with oppression and the issues he is protesting

I don't understand why Reid is tripping on York. People make mistakes. York made his. He's learned from it and is now being proactive.
We hear all the time how criminals can be reformed and do reform. Why can't NFL owners like York be afforded the same treatment?

I'm still confused by the mistakes they say York made.
He was on record that he was taken back by the protest during the anthem at the time but after discussion realized what was going on. Isn't that a common theme?
How many people thought Kap was being super disrespectful at the time? The media completely concentrated on him kneeling/sitting with very little coverage on WHY. I live in NE. If i wasn't a 49ers fan I probably wouldn't realize why he was doing it. I know a ton of people around me didn't understand why he was kneeling and the narrative was he was a jerk who hated the country, didn't respect the flag...
Now we all know(or should) why he was doing it. It's clearly a problem that hasn't gone away. In the grand scheme of things kneeling during the national anthem doesn't compare to people being killed for no reason.
Jed had the initial reaction of most people, he discussed it with the players involved and grew from it. Reid making it into a thing just cuz Kap and Reid didn't get retained for life long contracts is pretty pathetic honestly.
When you think the only way to help the cause is doing it your way(and which way is that even? Has he offered any solutions or just complained about what others have done?) then are you really helping?
