This team (or at least some of its biggest components) comes across as so unlikable, so full of themselves. Combine that with the hype train and it would be funny to see them fall on their face.

tl;dr
he basically experienced rejection to walk on various sports at different levels of play and never gave up. he eventually made it to the browns invitation-only tryout and lied about knowing the head of player personnel to gain entry. he made the team and scored when the browns played the redskins Thursday night.

yes, it's only pre-season, and if he gets cut his journey isn't over. it's a remarkable story nonetheless. worth a watch.

What if hes lying about lying to get in ?

The browns fans went through a lot the last 20 years. For the sake of those season ticket holders, I wish them well to finally see their team to succeed in any extend. However, I really hate the attitude of those players. They are clowns. I don't expect them together walk humbly but they are fake like the jaguars defense. "We don't allow touchdowns, only field goals. We go 16-0." I have loved to see them hit rock bottom. Same goes for the browns. I would deign their fans but I want their team to fail.

Dont care much about OBJ, but loving Baker. Finally a QB that can play and has a personality. Hes a crazy redneck lol love it

Actually, I don't care one way or another about them. I care can care less if they win their division or go 4-12. I'm pretty indifferent towards them as a team, unless they play my beloved 49ers. My problem is how the media is hyping this team, so much to the point to where NFL Network is showing their camp news 70% of the time

Lol. I have no issue with the Browns. Except for in the mid to late 80's they have been a sorry ass franchise, so I actually root for them to win (over the Steelers and Ravens) because they've been so pathetic. But statements like the above have me scratching my head. WTF are you talking about Baker? Are you delusional? Your team hasn't done jack s**t, so nobody truly gives a s**t until you actually do something. That said, dumbass statements aside, I actually hope they do win their division.

Yeah I'd love to see the Browns have success. Their fans have suffered immensely for so long, including having their team ripped away from them and shipped to Baltimore at one point. It would be a feel-good story for them to finally see the team do well.

Side note: In my OP, I predicted 5-8 wins for the Browns in 2018. Let's hope my prediction of a winning record for the Niners comes true too.

Right, as long as it does not come at our (the 49ers') expense I welcome their success. Good call on predicting their record for last season, I thought they would be improved as well. I think they will be in the hunt for their division this season and barring that they will compete for a Wild-Card spot, but we shall see if they actually earn that, or not. Health permitting, the 49ers will be in the playoffs. Either as a division winner or a Wild-Card. I think we'll be playing our best ball down the stretch regardless which will bode well for us.
