If it was any other team, we'd be saying they should at least be 8-8. We'll see what Hue can do with real players on offense. Losing Joe Thomas hurts, but I think the mobility of Taylor helps a little. Mayfield will have to go the Mahomes route and sit for most or all of his first season. They have a top notch group of LBs, a young, talented secondary, a DL full of high picks on defense. Offensively, they have big-time star power with two Pro Bowl WRs and a strong stable of runners.

It all comes down to 1) their willingness to work and 2) do they believe in themselves? Hue was a proven offensive mind before he was brought in. The Browns haven't won games, but it's hard to say any coaches had it worse when it come to coming in with no talent while being sabotaged by a horrendous FO botching Hue's attempts and requests to acquire certain talents in FA/Draft/Trades that would improve the team.

We'll see if the reshaped FO and roster take them up a bit. I have a feeling they will win games that people think they shouldn't. I like the Bengals, but I think they are a couple injuries away from being last place in that division.

Here's some closing food for the thought. The 0-16 Browns lost two games to Pittsburgh last year by a combined 7 points. They lost 6 games by one score. Same thing in 2016. Perhaps the boost in talent will get them divisional splits this across the board this year.
