I've never seen a winless team from the previous year get so many televised games during the preseason. Baker Mayfield sucks IMO.

Playcalling isn't helping him...very reminiscent of Jimmy Raye....run, run pass.

He's the next Case Keenum.

Mayfield looks like the real deal in do time and Tyrod Taylor is an upgrade. Defense looks improved, offensive line needs work. 4-12, give or take a game either way. Maybe 6-10, 7-9, by next year if they keep moving forward. What I want to know is why they kept 1-31 Hue Jackson around, when they appear to be finally going in the right direction. In the last game the announcers were all over him for putting Tyrod Taylor back in after an injury.

That's all coaches call in preseason. They just want to get a glimpse of run blockers and running backs. Not only that but run plays keep your prized qb safe. . Problem is every defense now knows that its going to most likely be a run play.

So if you're a running back you're going to be sore tommorow.
Greg Williams being himself. SMH calling the CB who injured his back on a tackle stupid. This is the same dude that got punished by the league for making players try to take out opposing players. Remember the Saints.

he didn't call the player stupid. this being news and Hue having to apologize for Williams is really stupid.

"I was glad to hear [it wasn't serious], and maybe he'll finally listen to me and stop doing those stupid things the way he's trying to tackle and tackle the way I tell him to tackle and he won't get hurt," Williams said

Due to full contact in practice becoming more and more limited at all levels, I see pro players tackling in a sloppy manner that back in the day would have got a butt chewing and laps out of a High School coach.
4-12

With a number of close games

Garrett is the real deal

I even think that's generous. I don't see more than 2 wins.

Depends on if we are counting full games or being a part of a game. Does Foster have one full game under his belt yet? I mean in that has he played 100% of the snaps he was supposed to play in that he did not need to take a few plays off to get something looked at.
