I explained this just above.
As to rules, Rule #1 is about respect. It is intentionally broad in order to allow some latitude while still maintaining the principle.
The rule is respect for other posters, and not intended for players. You are turning his post into something it wasn't to begin with. People have said FAR worse things about players, even if his post was intended the way you are pointing out that it could be taken as (which it obviously wasn't), it's still not against the rules as I have understood them the last 15ish years.

I'd definitely make an offer but idk how serious I'd be about dealing with an attitude like that + that contract. I might offer this years 2nd and throw in next yrs 3rd or 4th. Really I don't see him getting traded it would be to much of a cap hit for the Steelers and they probably wouldn't get what his talent value actually is
Steelers future is starting to look gloomy, losing bell and now potentially Brown both you could argue are the best in the league. Rothlisberger is an aging diva at quarterback and now Mike Tomlin has to be on the hot seat. All while the Browns and Ravens seem to be young and on the upswing

There's no story here. He's unlikely to be let out of Pittsburgh and even less likely we'd get him. Just like the Giants with OBJ, the Steelers will come out out and try to squash this overblown situation

More Tomlin on situation now with AB: "I haven't spoken with him since' before the game Sunday. "We're going to address him and the circumstance"'
