Steelers most likely won't trade him cause they don't believe in setting precedents. They don't want future players thinking they can force the organizations hand. Look at bell, they literally just let him sit.
And if I'm not mistaken, Steelers have 21M in dead cap regardless, so even less reason to trade him. They would most likely rather him just sit and do nothing and waste his prime years then letting him force their hand.
They don't want players trying to tell them what to do.

The Bell situation is informative as to their MO.
Similar to the Patriots. It is Bill's way or the highway. Just ask Jamie Collins.

Trade Solomon Thomas and a 3rd rounder to the Steelers... One of their needs is an interior defender and they aren't in a position to get a top one in the draft. Then, we draft Quinnen "Aaron Donald" Williams with the second pick and our two DT's are the best in the league.

LOL, try it in Madden and see what happens.
They would want #2 overall for Brown, did you see what the Cowboys gave up for Cooper?

I have to assume that you believe there is value in "Thomas and a ____." I see Thomas and a ___ pick as basically a ___ pick and a throw in. So you and I will never agree on what a fair trade would be if Thomas is included.
Cooper was traded for a 1st round pick. Cooper cant hold Brown's jockstrap.

Cooper is also young and on his rookie deal. Brown is 30 and on a massive deal. If they want the 2nd overall pick they can go to hell.
