.... you said no to Khalil Mack

Yeah not for multiple 1sts and 2nds and a $100 million dollar contract.

What you think brown is gonna cost that much?

I already have stated I don't think receivers are worth Jack s**t. I'd offer a 6th rounder and some depth guys for AB. I was just having fun with you saying you want proven talent. But to this day I'd give up our #2 and our first next year for Mack and a 100 million dollar contract and buy him a helicopter and full time pilot to be able to fly to the stadium for game day.
Using the "Guess what sh**tty news we'll hear next" thinking cap:
They'll trade 2019 and 2020 1st rounders to PIT.
Then Bosa somehow slips to #2 and goes to PIT.
PIT goes on to win the Superbowl.
Brown and Garoppolo have drama over Kiara. Brown demands a trade.

He will be 31 going into the season. If he pulls a 1st (which I don't think he will) it will be in the 2020 draft because pitt isn't gonna eat $21 million in dead money.

I want proven talent but I don't want to spend everything and more for it

Yeah I just don't see how a 31 yr (when the season starts) old diva WR with a massive contact fetches a 1st? Maybe NE cause it's gonna basically be a 2nd rd pick. I also don't think Pitt would deal him to a good team like NE.

Sounds like Lynch tried to give them that much and more, but Chucky thought the Bears pick would be worse....chucky chose poorly lol

LMAOOOOOOOOO

LOL seriously. Id hang up so quick if I was the Steelers.

Thomas and a 2nd?

I have to assume that you believe there is value in "Thomas and a ____." I see Thomas and a ___ pick as basically a ___ pick and a throw in. So you and I will never agree on what a fair trade would be if Thomas is included.

Cooper was traded for a 1st round pick. Cooper cant hold Brown's jockstrap.

Cooper is also young and on his rookie deal. Brown is 30 and on a massive deal. If they want the 2nd overall pick they can go to hell.

Yeah, A brown trade and the cooper trade are very different circumstances, especially because of where they are in their career and their contracts.

Brown is a perennial all pro wr.. Top 3 in the league.

Cooper is just another talented wr. Mack is the example to look at and the multiple first round picks it took to move him.
Mack is also a generational edge rusher just entering his prime, and is by all accounts great off the field. Brown is entering the end of his prime, plays a less important position, and is dealing with off the field issues. They're not the same value, at all.

How is Antonio Brown not a generational talent?

Never said he wasn't. But, as a positon WR = ER in terms of impact?

Still he isn't a spring chicken and he could fall off in the next three to four years. If they want next years first for him, great, theres a discussion there. Not the second overall pick though.

Well they just have to wait until after June 1st is what i'm being told. Which i could wait for that

We agree on AB that's for sure. But you can't get Khalil Mack on a clearance rack. Ultimately like you said Gruden made the call and at the time it was the smarter one since Jimmy G still had a knee. Now he's getting a late first rounder for Mack and missing out potentially on the best ER in the draft. Doesn't matter if it's a coin toss on the field or not trading to us the Raiders just lose.
He a Niner yet?

I believe it's a designation not an actual date anymore.
what is a fair trade for AB?
Would two #3's be fair( 2019 & 2020) or some kind of combination.
Would we give up more to get OBJ? going after AB might cost us less of our future young talent. I really dont like the idea of giving up the second pick in the draft for either of them, especially when we have such a glaring need for a Edge rusher and this is the draft to pick one out of.
