Raiders gave up alot. Too much imo. It won't pan out. Nothing but meh offensively. Just watch.
With the trade comes a new deal for Brown, who will receive a new three-year contract worth up to $54.125 million with $30.125 million guaranteed, per Rapoport. The agreement makes Brown the highest-paid receiver (average yearly salary) in the NFL, edging Odell Beckham Jr. of the New York Giants.

Interesting... I'm wondering what the thought process was for JL/KS when they looked at Antonio Brown.
I'm assuming it was the off-the-field stuff that they weren't interested in, coupled with the fact that he's already 30 and would command the highest salary for WRs in the NFL. I think, even if he were available in free agency and not a trade, they wouldn't have pulled the trigger.

Wow, $18 mil a year?!
Raiders is a dysfunctional organization, is only a matter of time, the sh*t will hit the fan sooner rather than later.
They had some great players like Mack and Armari Cooper and I actually thought Reggie McKenzie did a pretty decent job as their GM. Gruden has a ton to prove.

Reality is this was probably alot more about the fans wanting AB than it ever was the team. This definitely feels like a Gruden type move i.e. move your best e.r and best wr,piss off fanbase try and get them back with big AB trade. But objectively, can you say the Raiders are better? I cannot.AB is a great player, but seems like a damn space case and not someone I'd want on my team. Just think it's funny that we freak out every time we dont get that "it" player. But teams like New England, Greenbay they dont make these trades for ageing talent and are usually perennial playoff contenders..I'll take my chances with John and Kyle vs the opinions on here.

This all comes back to the Rueben Foster saga. Since being burned for taking a chance on that nut case the niners will be extremely careful with who they bring in. It's choir boys from now on. We're f#@ked.

Do you blame them? Wins can't mean so much that you allow wife beaters and rapists on the team. If you think being a decent human shouldn't be a prerequisite for being on the 49ers the God bless the fact that you aren't our gm.

well.... a b wasn't a rapist or a wife beater. If you don't understand that the nfl is not all nice and kissy then I don't want you as a gm either.Originally posted by KaptooCrab:Do you blame them?
