Let's get this defense where it needs to be so we can finally focus on building our offensive playmakers. 2 edge rushers, a safety, and a Cb.

Ohh you mean just another 49er offseason then? f**k that garbage. Our defense is still s**t after all these years of drafting defense heavy.

GET A NUMBER 1 WR FOR ONCE YOU POS FRONT OFFICE!

Hahaha oh boy. Now there's a reach.

It doesn't take much to play the "what if" game. Heck, if Jimmy hadn't drank that gatorade right before that series, he might have ran out of energy and decided to run out of bounds rather than cut up field and he would still have his ACL!! Lets ban sports drinks and water on the sideline!

If JG didn't sign with us, he's still healthy backing up Brady. If JG doesn't go to sleep, he won't have any nightmares. If JG doesn't eat kale, he might have a heart attack. If Jet didn't get hurt, JG doesn't take off running #WhatIfGames ... what if midgets were tall

No, actually there's truth to this. Jimmy G shouldn't be running around scrambling, but that's what gonna happen if they send him in with mediocre pedestrian receivers again.

I mean that's a definite possibility but you can't say that for certain. If we are gonna keep playing that game, then okay; I'm glad we didn't have a #1 WR last year! If we did, Jimmy would have tore both ACL's jumping up and down celebrating after he threw our #1 a TD. Then while recovering from a bilateral ACL reconstruction, he would have lost his balance and fallen due to having to wear two braces, and torn his rotator cuff on his throwing shoulder. Good thing we dodged that bullet.
Amazing thing is that trading for Brown would have not only given the Niners a #1 WR....but it would have still allowed them to draft a couple defensive studs with the #2 and #36 overall.

Now Maiocco is hinting they want OBJ....who has his own issues and who would probably require the Niners trading out of #2 and losing their #36 to acquire.

I'd rather have AB plus Bosa/QW/Allen and the #36 pick than Odell plus the 6th pick and no 2nd rounder.

Sickening. f**king hate these ultra-conservative FO. First with Baalke and now with Lynch and Shanny. Can we please grow some fkn balls for once??

The whole point is flying way over your head! THIS TEAM NEEDS TALENT AT THE POSITION

No thanks! I'd rather pay more attention to the actually talented players on other teams. At least I get my money's worth with my time!

If you are Niner fan who has been under York ownership for the most part, its not a surprising turn of events

I would have liked brown, however, 30 other teams didn't pursue him for a reason.

No I get that. And as I said in other posts I agreed we need talent at WR and many other positions and even agreed that AB was a badass; I did however disagree with the huge assumption that it led to Jimmy's injury. Sh!t happens.

More like, why out of 32 teams were the Raiders the only ones willing to do this? The same team that traded Khalil Mack, a young edge rusher because he'd cost too much and the one that just traded away their top offensive lineman because he cost too much.

Literally nothing they do makes any sense.

Many people don't seem to understand how the salary cap works. Look to the Patriots for an example of how to manage the cap for long term success.

At least they are taking their shots and trying risky moves. If they fail, they fail but they tried.

We, on the other hand, and our lack of any risky moves will just wither away, and die by decay. A far more boring way to go down for us fans.......ya no thanks.
