Mack is only worth that money in the right system.
As far as having the most impact for the Raiders
Brown > Mack
And it's not even close.

Taking shots at what? Remaining in the AFC West basement? The money they gave to Brown could have been given to Mack to keep an elite young pass rusher for years to come. They traded away a 24 year old #1 WR and just dumped their top lineman. The player they did acquire is a 31 year old WR that in no way fits with their rebuilding timeline.
The fantasy football mentality of this generation is difficult to reason with.
Boom.

What kind of system do think Mack would succeed or fail in?

Mack has been an all-pro in a 3-4 and 4-3...

Nah, he was going to require QB money on a rebuilding team and they would've likely lost him in the offseason for nothing. That was a masterful trade to get two firsts out of him. That's more than people got for Alex Smith, JimmyG, TO, Moss, AB etc.

The heck does that have to with the Raiders? How is Mack being an all-pro having any impact on that defense?? Meanwhile, Brown's production alone will generate more wins than Mack ever did.

Mack didn't help the Raiders much so why would they break the bank on him? Meanwhile, AB's production is guaranteed to give the Raiders more wins than Mack ever could. Plus they get 2 extra 1st round picks for him??? LMAO. The Raiders won that trade, no 2 ways about it.

AB hasn't done anything on the Raiders and there's no guarantee he will. Neither have the two first round picks got in the trade. I did see Mack play at an extremely high level last year. So to say they won a trade is purely projection. They better knock both of those picks out of the park.
How does Mack not help the Raiders or any team for that matter? In a passing league, he's one of the best pass rushers.

Mack got more money upfront than Brown's entire contract. 141 mil to 50 mil overall. Let's not act like these 2 contracts are comparable. Mack is the more impactful player but Oakland wasn't in position to keep him. Just spending too much $ for Davis.
They're still a long ways from good but Mayock is off to a decent start.

How can you say AB's production is guaranteed to elevate the Raiders, when his game depends on Carr and the rest of the offense? That's bold to say AB>Mack. Mack was unstoppable on the raiders, and even more so on a better bears defense. He has shown he can't be stopped in two different systems. AB however, has only shown to be effective with a high powered Steelers offense! Gonna have to agree with zepp. The Raiders still need to hit on their picks this year or Brown isn't gonna impact their team enough to justify the contract.

Yeah. Why would you want a wide receiver who gets 1500 yards and 12 TDs in his sleep? That couldn't possibly help lead to wins.
But fantasy football.

Antonio Brown scores more fantasy football points than Khalil Mack. Brown > Mack.

You know what the Niners should do? Sign the top player at EVERY position! Pay them ALL top money. Then our team will be the BEST!

The top 4 scoring teams this season were St Louis, New England, New Orleans, KC. I forget what was the Conference Finals? Can someone remind me. But let's talk fantasy football.
