So good that they traded him for pennies on the dollar.

Because he is 31 & wanted a new contract, OBJ, with personality issues was traded for a 1st round pick because he is just starting his prime years.

lol You're kidding yourself if you think that was the only reason.

If you don't think that is 90% of the reason you are the one kidding yourself.

You not been paying attention the last few years?

Since 2014 he has had 859 targets. So he was playing in Pittsburgh. Now you have Mayock trying to establish himself as a GM by fining Brown who he should of known wasn't going to take it well. Yet he did it anyway. Now this is a huge mess that could of been avoided.

AB is accountable for his own behavior and decisions. The dudes a narcissist who's either the hero or the victim never the bad guy.

This is absolute nonsense. There was never an issue in Pittsburgh until the end of last season. But not surprised people have this opinion. When people think a diva player is a "cancer" they tend to misremember or exaggerate to prove their point (see TO).

Plenty of reports talk about AB showing up late to meeting and practices all the time in Pitt. Tomlinson let it slide cause AB is a damn good player. Gruden and Mayock are old school and well this is what you get.

Totally agree with this. Not sure who Tyler Conway is, but his opinion is in line with mine....that this was unnecessary and a Raider issue.

Obviously, AB isnt innocent here. But the situation seemed to be in the past and Mayock had to do this to prove a point. I think its absurd, personally.

The dude gave up on his team at the end of the season by no showing in practice and getting himself suspended. You really think Tomlin and that well established organization you mentioned was gonna tolerate that kinda stuff; especially, if there were other episodes of this kind of behavior? Which there had to be, stuff like this just doesn't happen to a person's persona overnight. If he hadn't caused all that drama at the end of the season and beforehand, he gets a new contract. Maybe not as much as he would have hoped but he would have gotten paid.

Yup. I never thought this would be a good marriage. Then again... Gruden hasn't been known for his relationships with players anyway.

So tired of this. Superstars get preferential treatment. That is just a fact of life. Makes me laugh that teams who acquire superstars somehow act stunned that the superstars carries himself like a superstars.
Hehehe... just hehehehe

And most of the time I would agree with that but he cost the Steelers a good shot at making the playoffs last season by all that late season drama. Thats beyond superstar treatment at that point, and he should have known he would have be on thin ice this season after that happened. Not just with management and coaches but with his teammates as well because they wanna win, and if he's costing them wins, he's not gonna have much respect in the locker room.

To be fair LB cost them more games the AB did last year. I think there is more going on with the way Steelers are handling things behind the scenes. At the end of the day though I am glad the 49ers did not try to go after AB.
Why couldn't there be one more episode of hard knocks this week.
And some of you actually wanted to sign this jackass, lol.
