Why couldn't there be one more episode of hard knocks this week.

This is like getting the directors script. Don't get to see it but get to visualize the scene.

So let your entire organization be held hostage by a lunatic. Meh.

He seemed good in Pittsburgh, one of the top organizations in football... Goes to Oakland, with a GM who has never worked in a front office before... and all this happens.

You not been paying attention the last few years?

Since 2014 he has had 859 targets. So he was playing in Pittsburgh. Now you have Mayock trying to establish himself as a GM by fining Brown who he should of known wasn't going to take it well. Yet he did it anyway. Now this is a huge mess that could of been avoided.

you are right totally could have been avoided if they just would have left AB alone and he would be somebody else's problem. He should be treated like any other player who has unexcused absences for practice.
Gee, I wonder what's going on over in the Steelers Offices and on their Fan Boards/Forums/etc?

Antonio Brown has a ten cent head, but the Raiders knew this when they traded third and fifth round picks and gave him $30 million in guaranteed money. When you make that kind of commitment to someone who you know is unstable, I think there is an obligation for the Raiders front office to just suck it up and deal with this guy's BS and make sure he's on the field on Sundays. Suspending Brown and getting into a contest of wills with him at this point is foolish. I'm not saying Brown doesn't deserve to be punished on a philosophical level, but the Raiders invested serious capital for Brown to catch footballs, knowing full well he has the professionalism of an eight year old. I just wish Hard Knocks lasted one more episode.

This is where the rubber hits the road.

Raiders are rebuilding and establishing their identity going forward. Love him or hate him, Brown is not following along with what the Raiders want to do.

The problem is; if you don't want a diva, don't bring him in. If you bring him in, you either have to force him out of his diva role or get rid of him. If building a new culture is the mission, and the diva isn't willing to go along with it, then he has to leave. There is no other choice.
Brown is a hybrid of T.O. and Percy Harvin !

Well put.
Schefter saying he may never play a game for the raiders. Time to pull a Belichick and poach him for ourselves

The Raiders are dumb as f**k. Mayock shouldn't have fined in the first place. This is a 30 million dollar investment. You gotta treat this dude like Lebron f**king James. Like royalty bro.

Now they are suspending....

Not trying to defend AB's antics, but the way the Raiders handling all of this is also really stupid.
Thank God we don't have this scumbag and all the drama he brings.

As good as he is - we didn't need the headaches.

He would have been absolute poison to the new guys like Dee-Bo, Hurd and anyone else he came in contact with.

BTW - we haven't seen the last of his BS by a longshot!

We probably don't draft Deebo if we got AB

The first step to them trading him is eliminating his guaranteed money. After that, he becomes very tradeable but only to a certain number of teams willing to put up with his diva act.

Can't imagine he has any trade value. We take a swing with a team friend contract if Oakvegas cuts him?

He'll be a patriot, traded for a 4th round pick.
