AB is playing his leverage here. He knows how much cap room he costs, in his mind, they dont have the balls to cut him or trade him.

He's a good player and WR's are all divas, it comes with the territory. TO was way f**king worse.

Gruden should support his players, it's literally his job. Mayock sending a letter to fine his star WR is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

All good WRs are divas just isnt true. Hopkins, Julio, Thomas, those 3 are arguably the best in football. AB can choose not to be a b***h.

Whats wrong with the letter? Thats literally how it works lol. And then he posts it on IG...

he showed how much of a dumb s**t he is when he live streamed the locker room, thats something u dont do. And he did that after he was told to stay off of social media and he did it after a loss too.

Steelers were smart getting rid of him.

If everybody has to show up to meetings except divas, you're going to have a lot of divas. And losses.

Unbelievable.

I read they take a $30 mil cap hit if they release him outright. That drops to $1 mil if they trade him. They gave up a 3rd and 5th for him so they wont recoup that but might be able to get a 5th or 6th because of the headaches he caused.

I've read that suspending him will void his guaranteed money in the deal he signed and will let the Raiders cut him at a loss of $1 million
This dude has no value. Literally, none. No one will gamble on him.
can't believe i wanted him

I wonder if Mayock or Gruden had previously mentioned to him that he could or would be fined should he continue on.

I also wonder what Mark Davis' position is in all of this.

Ehh there are teams that would be probably willing to take him on with eye towards a SB run. Rams, Chiefs, Saints, Pats come to mind however unsure if they can make it work financially.

Lmao Mayock bout to get blasted. This is why you don't hire fools from the broadcast booth to run a billion dollar organization.
This fool is gonna run himself out of the league real soon like TO and Ochocinco did to themselves.

Thank God we don't have this scumbag and all the drama he brings.

As good as he is - we didn't need the headaches.

He would have been absolute poison to the new guys like Dee-Bo, Hurd and anyone else he came in contact with.

We probably don't draft Deebo if we got AB

We really made out on that one.

They're currently trying to figure out if him threatening Mayock is grounds for terminating his contract, he's going to fight any suspension. Don't think he plays a game in a Raider uniform, which is borderline idiotic. Mayock was a horrible hire.

Why? This is 100% Gruden's decision to sign Brown. I guarantee you Mayock was NOT a fan of signing him. Mayock HATES divas.

Talent will only get him so far. Like you said just like TO. Could be amazing people if they just shut up.

It's insane to blame the front office for his actions. You pay for play. To think you would even consider justifying the behavior as "it's who he is" is what is wrong with society. You cannot do whatever you want without consequences.
