Not really incredible he just has a high tolerance for allowing himself to be clowned on.

But hasn't been back to the Super Bowl in 11 years. Is good enough good enough?

Tomlin is an interesting one. Did get a Super Bowl W, and got them back a couple years later. In the playoffs fairly consistent, but hasn't done much past that. Some people argue he's underachieved given the rosters that he's had. I'm not sure where I stand on him.

I lost all respect when AB pulled that stunt on him and he kept playing AB no real consequences. A lot of his players have shown just complete clown tendencies. Juju was a clown. AB a maniac. Bell was a clown. Recently Chase Claypool was posing for the cameras and celebrating a first down while the final seconds are ticking off the clock. His teammates have to slap him around like hey dude wake up we need the ball for the next snap. Clueless clown. I'm sensing a theme here. Tom Coughlin wouldn't put up with a cent of this crap. Mike Singletary wouldn't either. Coaches need to have the ability to slap the stupid out of their clubs. I recall Belichick one of his first things he did in New England a guy walked in late for a team meeting. He just came in late and sat down while Bill was talking. Bill said no. Stopped talking. Looked at the guy and told him to get out. He was cut. He was supposedly one of their top receivers. Bill made a decision to not let anyone walk over him or put themselves above the team. Tomlin has gone the opposite direction.

He has shown classic mental health issues. THAT is what is wrong with him.

For too long society has not recognized that mental health is just as important as physical health. It is still kept in the closet, especially in "manly sports" such as football. Each team should have MH counselors available at all times. There needs to be open communication about how depression and bipolar conditions can be treated and managed. Antonio Bryant's actions are a man crying out for help but not knowing how to get it. Pray he gets it while there is still time.

Selfish , self centered , lack of discipline are not mental issues. More like his character

Those things can also be a manifestation of mental health issues.

The last thing I want to do is make excuses for bad behavior. However, as someone who has seen how mental health issues have impacted some members of my extended family, I can personally attest to the wide swath MH has in behavior issues.

AB had a miserable childhood/upbringing and that too can result in acting out the way he has. In any case, as Brady has said, he needs help.

That is one of the most frustrating things about MH issues, especially for someone with bipolar. There are times when they can act normal but then snap again without warning when even a trivial thing does not go the way they want.

If you've ever spent any amount of time around people with mental health issues, this is pretty much spot on.

Also, the way mental health treatment works in this country is that it cannot be forced on anyone. A person with true mental health issues has to seek out treatment and accept treatment. This isn't always easy. There are many instances where people with mental health issues believes that everyone around them is positively nuts and THEY are the sane person in the room.

This is how and why mental health issues go untreated much of the time.

Yep, if you guys want to treat mental health serious, it is has to be for everyone. Not just for family members and situations that affect you.

Antonio Brown is an ass, maybe, but it's possible it's a result of his mental health problems? Just wish the world would stop kicking this dude while he's struggling with something. These teams should have had him undergo a full psychological examination and get treatment prior and during the tenure with their teams.

As an example of such behavior, a now-deceased member of my extended family was bipolar. In one of his manic phases, he called his wife and told her he was standing on the Golden Gate Bridge and had put it up for sale for $5,000,000. Melvin Belli was his attorney and was handling the details. If the sale fell through he was going to jump.

Between such phases, he managed a rather successful business. When things were going well, he would go off his meds and cycle back through the whole loop again. Very frustrating.

My example is my (first) ex-wife. She was on medication when I married her (mistake), then went off the meds without warning three years into the marriage. That's when the weird stuff began to happen. I discovered she kept a butcher knife under the mattress on her side of the bed to stab at snakes in the night that were not there. One night she woke up screaming, claiming our house was on fire, and that Jimmy Hendrix was playing a guitar on the roof.

It took a few years before I realized that it was the medicated personality that I had fallen in love with. When the true, unmedicated personality emerged, she was a totally different creature. Everything about her, including her personality, just vanished. I had no idea who I was married to.

Someone made the observation that people who are on the outside don't recognize what is really going on. This is so spot on. I tried for the better part of two years to get help, to no avail. After six years, the marriage was over.
