if someone flips off someone else as part of a road rage incident the risk of physical confrontation increases

bad analogy btw

Dude this is pro football. Pretty sure AB has said some stuff between the lines that could peel paint off walls. AB is a guy who threatened to physically assault Mayock. Was that not pretty intense?

First off I don't believe AB for a second (no one should). Second off, even if you assume AB is telling the truth going bananas is not the correct response to an intense hand gesture. An adult would document it and file a complaint with the appropriate authority, or would have a one on one discussion about it at an appropriate time. Only a child would strip their clothes off and say screw you guys I'm going home lol.

i hear what youre saying but im just saying if arians is guilty as accused (highly doubt it like you) he should be thanking his lucky stars that AB isnt wired like latrell sprewell. in any event AB was just making a point that hes not coming back to the bucs by ripping off his jersey. its akin to lebron ripping off his cavs jersey way back in 2010 after losing to the Celtics in the playoffs

you are not dazzled by his million dollar smile?
Just happy now that we never ended up with him after the Steelers.

LOL, yea, he almost had me.

You and me both. Given everything I did not want him on the 49ers.

Don't get me wrong I love AB's out-of-this-world talent, I'd just prefer a player to have down to Earth character in concert with such talent, and he does not qualify.

Jerry Rice was all in on the 49ers signing this guy. I will never forget that.

Lol why would you never forget like it's some unforgivable sin on Rice's part? Clearly if that's the case Rice was watching his game which is without question. I doubt Rice sat the man down and interviewed him or gave him a mental health evaluation.

Lmao. So wait the coach he's worked with for 2 years, on week 17 of the 2nd season has to send him a text saying This is BA? Pretty sure that if your on a texting basis with your boss, it would've happened enough times that he wouldn't need to tell you who it is 2 years later, much less already knew from his time in Pittsburgh. That's the biggest load BS.
Sign him!!!!!!!

Me too. For a moment the idea crossed my mind, back when Jerry was pushing him.

Well, he should have been cut when he falsified a vaccine card. That puts the entire team at risk, not simply because he's an anti-vaxor who thinks Facebook is more reliable than medical journals (lol at all those people), but because by lying about it, his teammates assume he's vaccinated (and thus roughly 2 to 5 times less likely to get COVID) AND he risks being suspended (depriving the team of his skills). This isn't even taking into account the stricter quarantine rules for unvaccinated players.

Just by lying about it he's putting the team at risk. Same with Rodgers, except Rodgers doesn't have the extensive history of being a terrible teammate. So yes, Brown deserved a shorter leash, and yes, he should have already been cut.

He put his team at risk but the other 20 people who were vaccinated and got Covid didn't. Smh crazy world we live in.

You don't understand how viruses and vaccines work. Please refrain from talking to anyone on this topic (and probably many others) and making the world dumber.

IF there is video evidence of Arians making that gesture of dragging his finger across his throat, or any eyewitnesses that confirm it then AB's days in the NFL are not over. If not and it is seen as a fabrication then he's sealed his fate and his playing days are over. Imo it all rests on verification of that gesture since he claims it was made.

Lol what are you talking about? Making a gesture gives someone free reign to act like a 5 year old and throw a tantrum? Not in adultland. Imagine if someone flips you off on the road and you just get out of your car start stripping down and toss your clothes off the freeway. And then your defense is "well he started it".

Part of being an adult is you control your emotions rather than them controlling you.

I just love how every damn time you post on this forum someone always responds by putting words in your mouth. Did it say ANYWHERE in my post that such a gesture does excuse acting like a moron potentially ruining his career, again? I've had bosses behave in ways that are completely uncalled for and as an adult, I kept my cool, BUT I think some team desperate for wins will reconcile the talent vs the problem child giving weight to the fact if there was any truth to being cut on the sideline mid-game that BA was potentially the problem in that he was unable to properly manage AB and that they in an ego-filled moment of desperation decide that they can. I mean honestly how else would we expect AB to act if he were cut mid-game on the sideline?

Could be. He keeps getting multiple chances. I remember he threatened to assault Mayock and was rightfully cut and that same day the Pats picked him up. Good call.

One note he wasn't cut mid game on the sideline. There's reality and there's the psychopath AB's fantasy world. In the crazyman's brain he's the innocent victim and he was just doing his job had an injury and the coach flipped out and cut him when he wouldn't go in hurt. He then danced off the field doing some acrobatics, you know like injured players often do.

In reality he was upset about targets (realize he tons of cash on the line if he hits certain statistical thresholds). He flipped out at half time. He lost his temper and quit.

Making the world dumber is taking a vaccine and continuing to get Covid and spreading Covid (possibly even more because you aren't showing symptoms)
Please continue to stay in your basement scared and leave the rest of us alone to live our lives.
