Sure, sign him if we were contending but we're not. I can't see signing veterans in the latter stages of their careers. They get injured and are gone for most of the season.

We should only give up a 5th if they sign for the vet minimum for 5 years and we have an out after every season.

Sounds like a broken leg, which will put him out for the season. 49ers can get him in FA is they really want him.

If earl wanted the big bucks, he should've played cb instead of safety. And Seahawks got what they deserved. Could have got a second rounder for a guy who really wants out, who they failed to keep happy. But they were greedy and now they ain't getting s**t.

If Saleh is still here, I'd hope they go after Earl. Dude still has a lot in the tank. I imagine he'd love to stick it to the Seahawks in red and gold.
