Yeah, it would be the best in a couple of years. Hope they earmark the money that was going for OBJ and Bell and sweeten the offer for ET.
Did we sign him yet? C'mon Lehhss Gooo!! Sign him and Desir then go offense heavy on the draft after Bosa.

Kwon was coming off an injury too and we signed him like an hour after the tampering period started.

Yeah broken leg is almost meaningless compared to soft tissue injury. Sadly I think this is just one spot they are undervaluing and they might miss the boat. I view the single high safety as about the most important position in this D we are trying to run save for a speed rusher from the edge. Earl is the prototype for the role...we have the chance to get THE GUY not just a guy like him. I fear Lynch has a bit of a Elway blindspot in him hear. He just doesn't value the position he played as highly as others.
Gettttttt heeeeeeem
While I would be very happy getting him, it really seems like he is waiting for the Cowboys to figure out how to get him. That's where his heart is.

This...but it doesn't really matter where his heart is when money is involved. Hoping we up the offer today after missing out on LeVeon.

They can only get him at his price if they can get a deal done with Demarcus Lawrence to remove the franchise tag otherwise they cant really sign anyone else after Thomas since they need a backup QB as well which will take up whatever cap is left. Now if we hear contract talks with Lawrence... then its pretty much over.

Hope Lynch is working on signing him. Being reported on twitter he isn't signing with Cleveland.

I think that's his final task. I mean it looks obvious that he tried to get Odell and I guess Bell. Now he moves on to ET I hope.
I was just reviewing the top FAs listed at NFL.com. Of the top 8, only Thomas remains unsigned. One has to ask, "why?"

There are a number of teams who would like to have a top end FS but have not signed Thomas.

Is it because his salary demands are too high? Could be. Younger guys are getting $14M/APY.

Is his age an issue? Maybe.

His injury history would certainly seem to give cause for pause.

Maybe he is waiting to see if the Cowboys can structure something with Lawrence that would allow him to go home. If that is the case, the money will always be available somewhere, so waiting is not going to hurt him. With everyone saying the 49ers are in play, Thomas can sit back knowing he will get paid in SF if not Dallas. I don't like being the bridesmaid but it is what it is.

All of the above would seem to be in play. Hence, this drama may play out for another day or two. That wouldn't surprise me.

To me it's amount of money he wants and length of the contract versus his age and injury concerns. I think he's looking for the most money over playing with the Cowboys but I could be wrong on that. We shall see

4 years $55M just reported on NFLN by Rap Sheet

We literally missed on every big player that was linked to us. What a bunch of clowns
Ravens out of nowhere there. Not whispered at all IIRC.

Oh well, moving on.
