If they can get their QB house in order, with his ability to concentrate on the defense while Kubiak runs the offense, I see good things for Fangio and the Broncos.

Wonder what he did wrong in Interviews, if he is so well respected, and has done great things as a DC
No Prep
It doesn't seemed like he play the interview games like other coaches. Taking notes along the way in their career to eventually prepared for that HC interview.
Prep for every questions that might come up.
You can get a bit of an idea from his presser. Vic seems like he has a pretty good idea on what to do with what ever comes up, but he's not going to go into minutiae, because until it actually happened, he would considered himself talking out of his ass.
Owner and GM looking to pay a HC millions the next few years to run the team would want details.

Maybe whoever interviewed him before just didn't feel he was ready. Maybe he still isn't. No correlation between being a good DC and and a good HC. Many have tried and many have failed. Having owned a business I learned the hard way that there is a big difference between knowing about the business and knowing how to run it. We have that situation with the Niners. John Lynch certainly understands the game and he's a bright guy but it remains to be seen if he will be a great GM.

I always got the impression that he was looking for what fit him rather than convincing people that he's a fit.
And DEN should be a good fit with those D pieces.

Unfortunately he's just Elways new little puppet. Kubiak will run the show without the head coach title. Radio station out hear were making fun of this hire. He will definitely improve the defense.

Figured as much.
Early rumor is the Broncos are going to try to bring Ed Donatell in as DC.

Good for him!! Just kinda wondering about the timing..will he be up to it?
He's got some solid pieces though with that defense. Damn they should become a dominant force under his tutelage.

He's paid his dues and the Denver defense is better already.

Fangio gonna get that Denver D back to nasty. Might be as close to that Saints D in the early 90's
