It was never about fangio vs. tomsula in the first place. But, hey, don't let facts distract you.

jed and trent wanted a yes man who would not challenge them. i did not see that at the time. i wanted a vet coach cuz our team was set up to still win despite issues in the 8 8 season. tried to have a open mind about jt but that lasted 2 games

Baalke figured it was easier to control Tomsula. Fangio is nobodies b***h.

Respect and congratulations due. So happy that Vic finally got his shot. I am also so glad that we played Denver this year and will not have to see that team until 2022, unless we meet in the Super Bowl. I want no part of a Chubb/Miller combo with Vic calling the plays. But I thought I read something that Vic will not be getting Kubiak? If that's true, that's unfortunate because that Fangio/Kubiak combo would've been something special.

Feeling less optimistic about Fangio without Kubiak. He was the perfect fit since he'll never be a head coach again.


Now you get on that OC carousel. Hire a guy who does well and he is a HC elsewhere next year. Hire a guy who sucks and Fangio likely doesn't last very long as HC.
