Will never forget all the people clutching their pearls over the results of a single preseason game. Every year you have teams and players that show out in the preseason only for none of it to carryover into the regular season. Its almost like gameplanning and games mattering actually changes things.

On one hand, I feel bad for Fangio he finally gets his first shot at head coach, and his team is terrible, but he was desperate to get his shot. Denver was a terrible situation, aging roster with no quarterback. He knew what he was getting into.

Rumor has it that Elway passed on Kyle because he told Elway they needed a rebuild and JE wasn't having it.

Not sure Fangio would mesh well with what Lynch and Shanahan have been doing. But, maybe Sherman goes to bat for him or something.
It would be interesting to see Bosa/Ford/Buckner/Armstead/evenThomas in a Fangio front seven.

This is why you be careful what you asked for. Fangio wanted a HCing gig for a while and now stinks up in Denver when he finally got his chance. He's a better coordinator than HC.
