So, do we need to revisit this one? LOL

Why?

Because they're going to the playoffs again and we stink again.

Next year it'll get back to the original trend of them not making the playoffs and us going to the Superbowl.

Lol May want to wait until they actually wrap up a playoff spot before crowing btw have you watched the bears play at all?

LOL this....the Bears have won a single game vs a team with a winning record.

They have $19M on IR (9.3% of their roster) vs SF who has $67M on IR ( 33% of their roster).

We know what it's all about with NC...the OL.

OT:

Bobby Massie-been on IR since Nov their best OT. Who about avg in the NFL.
Jason Spriggs-straight garbage
Germain Ifedi-1st rd bust
Charles Leno Jr.-top 10 in sacks allowed this yr.

IOL: None are over a 59 in PBLK according to PFF.

Alex Bars-UDFA
James Daniels-been a middle of the road IOL after being highly thought of in the draft
Rashaad Coward-I have no idea who that is.
Cody Whitehair-stud RBLK one of the worst starting centers at PBLK in the league right now.

BUT why are they scoring points and winning games the past couple weeks They can run-block AND they're letting Mitch move around (like they should have been doing all along).

weird how that improves everything...

NC must be sarcastic, bringing up this lol

God no. Other than Mac and Allen Robinson, there's never a reason to watch the Bears. Haha

The Bears have a poorly constructed roster. It looks like the Bears whiffed on 2 head coaches although John Fox should have been given another year if healthy. They missed on Leonard Floyd who is actually a good player and although Robert Quinn is still producing, he's older and expensive. In hindsight it was a mistake to go all in on trading away draft picks for established players (Mack) and signing FAs when you don't know if you hit on the quarterback. They have a very good defense, I would even say great, but it hasn't really impacted the win loss record. The next coach has a lot to work with provided the OL gets addressed.

I almost forgot they did address the OL but draft crushes such as Whitehair and Daniels haven't played well. They do not have NFL caliber tackles. Peters a future HOF is finished.

End rant

They need to blow it up completely. Fire everyone and build around Roquan and Fields. They look to be in the NFC North basement and don't appear to be getting any better with the current regime.
Reports Nagy to be fired right after Thanksgiving game. Midseason shakeup..

And then:

So that would mean the thread is finished as the Bears rebuild has officially failed.

Indeed it has. Turns out trading multiple firsts for a non QB was as bad a decision long term as I had thought originally. Rams will soon follow. Hawks are already there.

The Rams traded a lot picks away years ago when they brought in guys like Aqib and Watkins, and some others that I'm not recalling right now and they were still able to reload again. Seahawks have been a very good team for like 10 years now.

Bears just screwed up.

Seahawks have been a good team primarily due to Wilson. The overall ineptness of their personnel decision-making since 2014 has been astounding.
Rebuild the defense with talent first. Stop using retread on offense and develop your own. Build an effect offense first and then slowly add talent to it. That's the way Kyle did it. And many guys before him. Nagy just sucks at it.

Ya, but you still need to have at least a decent team to consistently win games. Watson is/was hands down a top 5 QB in the NFL, and even he couldn't stop the team going 4-12 although he played very well that season.

They've done a good job there installing their scheme and being able to plug in average players and still get something out of them. Now that's really come crashing down this year, but it's still been impressive how long they've been able to at least a be decent team.

ya if tribusly worked out or they took another QB i think the bears wouldve worked out

Nagy isnt a great coach but i think trading for mack was a smart move

OT pass rusher and QB are the positions i would trade multiple first rounders for without much hesitation i would also do it for CB or S depending on who it is.

The Bears have good talent, just need to execute. We shall see if ole Jim Harbaugh wants a crack at the job...
