ROGERS - questioning Nolan on what jump rope had to do with Quarterbacking is the same question Nolan has been asking himself.

GOFF - trading away all the picks that the team used to land Buckner, Garnett, Jimmy G, Redmond, Robinson, Blair, Theus, THEN Solomon Thomas, and Foster was the reason why the Goff deal did not happen.

I didn't know that the niners were the only ones to pass up on Brady an Rodgers.


Goff isn't on their level yet anyways.

That Rams team is stacked. Yet they still almost lost and gave up 50+

This, and they look beatable if up against another decently talented team.

Goff is putting up video game numbers because the league is geared toward offense. Who cares. Let me know when he wins multiple, meaningful playoff games and a championship. He's not even in the same breath as Rodgers or Brady.

This, and they look beatable if up against another decently talented team.

The Rams D is a bunch of tryhards they got through free agency.. They're not actually all that great as a unit, still better than KC's D.

Goff looks to be very good at this point, he has it all. If he continues to have good coaching and good supporting cast he could win more SB than Rodgers

Are people forgetting that he just threw what should've been an easy interception to Ice the game to Fuller on Kansas City? He's done that multiple times and he misses too many throws. I guess peoples standards are really low for great quarterback play these days

First off, plenty of teams passed on Brady, second You really think Rodgers would have been any better getting tossed to the wolves like Smith was?
No o-line, no recievers, just Vernon and Gore. Horrible offensive COs, man Rodgers wouldn't have done s**t.
Rodgers got to sit behind a HOFer, and work with a great offensive staff, so move on.

Lastly Goff? Yeah we weren't making that trade, and with our staff at the time, we might have ruined him!

As for comparisons, I'll leave Goff out, to small a sample size.

Brady, great intangibles, passed over in the draft, plays like a champion when the chips are down, he is the modern Joe Montana

Rodgers, all the physical talent, highly touted in the draft, makes amazing plays, puts up crazy numbers, Dan Marino, with a super bowl win.

Keep in mind that this is James' 5th year, and Goff's 3rd.

I like James' poise better so far than Jared's.

Jared was #1 overall, James a 2nd rounder. We'll see if that draft stock was justified for both QBs in a few years...

This. Jimmy G throws picks or would-be picks at the end of games and everybody just seems to forget about it because he's a niner.

49ers should tank to draft Jared's brother, Jack, in 2021.
