To be fair, I don't think that thread is representative of that forum overall.
With one or two exceptions that thread is a murderer's row of people that other people on that forum don't listen to.
It's like all their Sunswells got together to have a party.
As by some strange twist I ended up spending a fair amount of time over there, for the most part it's like everywhere else: they have some really good posters and some really bad posters.
It all really falls down to what stands out proportionally.
For instance, proportionally, compared to other boards I've been on, the Zone has a lot of sh!tposters. It's just kinda the culture here.
.Net, proportionally, compared to other boards I've been on, has way more whiny posters who are solely obsessed with their victim complexes than I've seen before. In replace of pure football talk, and talk about who on the team is playing well and not playing well, what's happening with the team and the salary cap, etc., etc., they're VERY VERY invested in their insecurities, obsessing over every imaginable form of disrespect or slight, obsessing over conspiracy theories about how the league is designed to keep them down, reliving every single time some media pundit that nobody cares about didn't fellate them so that they can pound their resentments again, and so on. Over there they seriously might spend more time talking officiating resentments each week than talking football. Seven years into his career every time Wilson throws a TD there's still people jumping in being resentful about how he fell in the draft for being "too short." It's just kinda bizarre. Again, there's some really good posters over there, but proportionally the tip on the board to this type of stuff is just exhausting and very strange.

I gave up on Seahawks fans ages ago, when I found out that virtually none of them knew who Kenny Easley or Dave Krieg were.

I just hate that they're lucky AF. No injuries, draft picks ballin, playoffs every year, cocky fans that talk more sheit than any other fan base, losing 9 pro bowlers and yet they've improved, although most of those pro bowlers are either retired or irrelevant smh lucky af

Seahawk fans are bandwagoners who obsess over the Niners, even when he suck
But the organization isn't lucky. Niner fans sound bitter and ignorant when they say that. Their front office is solid, and Pete's system has lasted for a while. They are always relevant. When people gave them grief for choosing Wilson over the others, people hated. Right decision after all.
Jed should take notes and study them.

Most teams have bandwagon fans. With a few exceptions like the Chiefs and Packers for instance, fans disappear when teams are bad and fight for tickets when they are good. Look at the Niners now. The stadium is 2/3 filled at best and half empty after half time. In spite of complaints about the sun, the traffic, the prices and whatever else people can complain about I'm guessing that if and when the Niners climb back to the top the stadium will be filled. In the 80's the Niners had a waiting list of about 100 thousand to get tickets. I don't know if it will ever get like that again. I remember very well when the 12th man (a name they stole from Texas A&M) didn't exist. The Hawks were garbage for years. Since they have risen to the top you can't blame their fans for gloating. We Niner fans weren't much better back in those days. The difference is we had 5 SUPER BOWL titles. They have one. We had way more to gloat about.
