(I know I'm talking out of my ass. I didn't take into account the cap hits etc into the equation. But still, if Paraag could make the numbers work, don't you think it would be a win win for both teams ?)
Rodgers' personality doesn't fit on the 49ers.
Because Purdy is ready to go now, when healthy, you are talking about a VERY expensive one-year bridge to a fully healthy Brock Purdy. Rodgers has already said he doesn't want to be like Brady and play until he is 45. He won't and you will have given up a ton of talent for a short-term guy.
GB already has Love who did play very well in the limited time he had last year. Lance will still be a guy needing to play but won't get that time behind Love. Hence, GB will be reluctant to make the deal in the first place.
The 49ers need a deal that returns some of the draft capital they gave up to get Lance, not a deal that requires them to give up even more to get rid of him.
So, no, your backside speech isn't working well.
