What fuss did HE cause?

He said no decisions until after his retreat. And it makes sense, Wisconsin to New York is a huge move.

Then before his retreat other people are saying his plans, and he responds with "they are not my inner circle, they do not know."

Then he may have wanted to release it on the Mcafee show and told the jets. And all the outsiders were having strokes because of no information, meanwhile everyone that needed to know knew.

Retiring, not retiring. Giving the Jets his wish list when he didn't even commit, are you frickin serious you're still under contract and making these demands.

They went 7-9 in the AFC east 2 games out of the playoffs. With less than mediocre QB play. OROY, almost DROY,
If they bring in lewis or cobb, maybe Ezekiel Elliot.
Maybe mims steps it up, 30 catches. Davis to 40, moore 40, lazard 50, wilson and conklin stay the same.

They have talent just not at QB.

I agree they have talent and a very good defense. Their Breece Hall is gonna be a good one, he's already good at 5.8 y/a. Also Corey Davis is still a pretty good receiver.

Garrett Wilson gonna have a huge year
Jets doing Jet things

Wilson is young, Hall is young, Saleh is all gas no brakes.. get Lamar freaking Jackson and contend for 5-8 years not 1 year
This is Jets adding Favre 2.0

Dammit how could I have forgot one of my favorite players in the draft.
I know Aaron Rodgers has a history of being a drama queen and throwing people under the bus but I don't think he did that at all with this decision to go play in New York.

folks are grasping at straws because they don't like him. I watched his interview live yesterday and he didn't say one thing wrong. He spoke respectfully and factually about the situation. If anything, Green Bay front office are the a holes this time. They have a recent history of handling star players departures poorly.

one of the things I respect the most about Kyle and John is that they are transparent with players and honest. Multiple players have attested to that and it bodes very well for the organization.

Yeah I really believe they are done. Love looked good this year when he played. Free up a lot of cap.

Jordan love looked good? When? I didn't see anything special about him in his 21 passing attempts

Revisiting this one NY

apparently the Packers did.. they seem to be rolling with him as QB1, which I expected and continue to expect
NFL.com headline today.. Packers chose Love

The Packers chose Love. Speaking Wednesday on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers said it became clear to him the Packers were moving on from him last month after he returned from his darkness retreat. Green Bay figures to exercise Love's fifth-year option and pick up his guaranteed 2024 salary, which gives him a two-year runway to prove he's the right guy to take over the next position in the Packers' quarterback lineage.

I won't be surprised if the Packers' streak of declining to draft receivers in the first round ends next month. They could also look to spend valuable draft currency on a prospect from this deep tight end class. And it definitely makes sense for Green Bay to invest in more pass-catchers in free agency. If general manager Brian Gutekunst wants to be the next Ted Thompson, this transition from Rodgers to Love needs to work. The Pack should do everything possible to make Love's life easier.

They had a top 5 defense under Saleh last year.

Breece Hall had nearly 500 yards rushing in 7 games as a rookie while averaging but 11 carries a game.

Garrett Wilson had 1100 yards receiving as a rookie.

They are adding Lazard while they also have Corey Davis and former 2nd round pick Elijah Moore. Those receivers should look much better with some competent QB play.

Sure but Hall suffered major injury, Wilson in year 2 still developing..

Rodgers is in NYJ okay now what.. are they better than BUF? probably not.. better than MIA with Hill, Ramsey.. MIA was in playoffs last year..

are they better than NE.. probably, but they do have a coach on the Mt Rushmore of coaching..

This is why they play the games. Better on paper doesn't always translate to wins on Sundays.

I have a feeling Jets may have to send a player plus picks to the Packers.
Kinda glad Rogers ain't coming to the Niners. He can keep the drama 🎻
