There was some coverage that gave Niners props for Rodgers playing bad

There was also some coverage that said they lost bc Rodgers had an off day (not mentioning our defense )

Niners still aren't getting credit but like I stated, this is a good thing. Keeps them motivated. ESP Sherm.

Dont get me wrong. Jimmy G is a good QB. And if our defense keeps playing like the way it is, we have SB caliber team no doubt.

The question is whether ARod is done. And my response to that is Aaron Rodgers NOW would give us a much better chance to win the SB than Jimmy G now. ARod is an elite QB. Jimmy G is a good QB making his way up the ranks.

Fair enough. I'd still roll with Jimmy, I don't think the gap is that wide anymore and Jimmy is closing it with Kyle's help.

Not saying he'll be as prolific as Rodgers, he's a generational talent. But I can see him being nearly as effective.

At this point, Rodgers is not only playing with one of the least talented rosters he has ever played on, but he is also dealing with a rookie HC who just got his lunch handed to him by Shanahan and Saleh. Put Rodgers on the current 49er roster and you would see a different Aaron Rodgers.

lets not all get ridiculous now. When the packers gave Rodgers a legit d with charles woodson, young clay matthews and tramon williams and so on he won a sb in 10'. Then they surrounded him with wrs like Nelson, Jennings, Jones and a vet like Driver and he picked defenses weekly. Yah the following year they went 15-1 but no one repeats and ever since management has been cheap and failed to give him a d worth a damn and havent surrounded him with wrs since nelson aged and they let jennings go. Adams was the only 1 they drafted worth a damn. There is NO question in my mind we win at least 2 SB's and no doubt be the favorites for this years. I love Jimmy and I think he'll get better but even tho i truly think were the most complete team I fear Jimmy throwing a stupid or 2 picks or fumbling. With Rodgers I know we'll average 30 plus easily and with this d they'll steam roll everyone.

Rodgers isnt done, weve seen constantly how a dominant dline can make even the greats look horrendous. I just dont think Rodgers has the weapons, the d and the coach to get him another SB unless things change.

That's his fault. He's the one with the record contract and one could even say had McCarthy fired.

Btw that defense was getting all sorts of props at the beginning of the season.


Gb could've easily have been undefeated before seeing San Fran ,if it wasn't for an incomplete pass in the endzone.



Shannypollo dismantled that defense accordingly.
