Rodgers threw for 48TDs with a bunch of sorry-ass receivers, except Adams. This might mean, maybe WR wasn't their biggest need, but they used their first 3 picks last year on a backup QB (0 games), RB3 (11 games for 240 yards), TE3/4 (2 games).
If Lynch would have drafted MLB, RB, DT with our first 3 picks would be fun to watch...

What in the absolute hell are people talking about how they need to get him more weapons? Is this some kind of joke? With a top offense in the league? Give me a break. If he wants to b***h about them drafting a back up quarterback in the first round instead of somebody on offense/defense last year fine but tons of teams do that. We did that in the second and third round of this years draft. It's not a big deal.
If he goes to Denver they will automatically be a Super Bowl contender they have such a good defense and offense they just really needed a quarterback. I think he goes to Denver
I don't think any of this is true if Rodgers isn't the QB.

How do you win a championship if you have disdain for management? If you do, you make them look good and in the right leaving him look like an ass for causing so much drama; but if he wins one without them he's in the right and makes them look foolish

i think bradshaw was right about rodgers but at the same time... the greatest super bowl trash talk was before the 79 cowboys steelers game when hollywood henderson said.. bradshaw was so dumb he could not spell cat even if you spotted him the C and T... a year later hollywood ended up doing blow on the sidelines during a game for us but thats beside the point

GB could've helped him at WR over the years, but you're right. He's had plenty of talent on that roster and people love to pretend like it's a one-man show up there.
Though, I think Aaron has every right to be a little angry about the Love pick. Unless Aaron gave management an indication he wasn't going to stick around, then you keep building for a SB run. I get them liking a QB and moving up to get the 5th year option.
This seems to come down to a massive breakdown in communication. Aaron was known for changing the offensive plays being difficult to control, so I'm sure there plenty of blame on both sides. It's also hard to be mad at a GM for drafting for the future. Everyone agrees that young QBs should sit for a year or two behind a proven vet. Hell, even Kiper and the gang are hating on the Lance pick because he's not expected to play right away, even though the consensus thought on Lance is that he should take some time to learn and adjust to the NFL due to his jump in level of competition. We tend to want it both ways.
Oh yeah, screw GB!

I thought it was weird that the Broncos passed on Fields. Lock is horrible and Bridgewater is not much better. I wonder if it's because they feel they can land Rodgers after June 1st. Broncos are one of the teams on his list of places to go.

Browns would still be the 3rd best team in that division.

Got to make you wonder why they passed up on Fields - maybe something is brewing with Rodgers in the near future.

Well, I can only think of two reasons and Rodgers or Watson is one. The other is that the teams have more info on his health than we have.

Well there was rumors prior to the draft that they were interested in Lance and maybe just decided to go in another direction once he was off the board. I do wonder if it would have been better for them to trade down. They could have made the trade with the Bears and still get a good CB at 20. They could have drafted Farley at 20 who when healthy might actually be better than Surtain. If the risk is too much they could have taken Newsome who is pretty good.
