I answered it. The WZ know it all guys said a good QB will always elevate their team. Even if things aren't perfect. So I wondered what their excuses were?

And they said those things about certain qb's we had that couldn't get it done for 5-6 years no matter what was around them. Not one year struggling with nothing around him.

So you are saying it kind of matters what's around a QB. Any QB. Even really supposedly great ones. It can have an effect?

Only 3 years ago packers clinched the #1 seed and their second best WR had 450 yards, while Adams missed like 5 games, and their defense was above average at best in most categories..

He's just old now and he's not the same. Every year makes a big difference now. You think every QB is Brady and should be elite at 40+?

If you've been following football long enough the answer should be pretty obvious. Great QBs elevate their teams almost no matter what. Rodgers just isn't that great anymore.

Losing Davante Adams was a big mistake. He needs a go to WR. His rookie WR has brick hands. Drops the deep ball. He can still play IMO. On the right team he'd even be awesome. He can still throw accurate and read the field well.

Isn't he under some fat 40+ mil per year deal? You think he walks away from that?

I'm still not sure what the take being suggested here is.. are we saying GB will cut Rodgers? Trade Rodgers?

I'm sue they meant trade. That would be crazy if they just cut him! I hope we are in line if that happens.

If he was willing to sign with us in the offseason (knowing Jimmy is out), I would sign him in a heartbeat. With this loaded roster, "OLD MAN Fartgers" would make us instant SB favorites for the next 3 years…

Yep, he would instantly fix our short-term quarterback issues, likely win a couple of rings, and potentially accelerate Lance's development if he came in with the right mindset. I'd strongly consider it.
