Aaron Rodgers, QB, NY Jets

Green Bay should have traded Rodgers after their playoff loss to us last season. It was the perfect opportunity to reset and reload - what with Jordan Love already on the roster and the big haul of picks they could have received for A-Rod. Instead, they chose to sign him to a ridiculous extension, which will make it tough to move him if they shall decide to do so. I know he's played with an injured thumb this season, but you can tell just by watching him play that he's not moving like he used to, and he clearly doesn't have it in do-or-die games. Also, I would think most teams will be a little bit more cautious now when it comes to trading for aging players after the Russ debacle in Denver and Matt Ryan in Indy.
Possibly a tragic ending to one of the greats to play the position

Right, the Packers may have missed the boat on fleecing their trade partner like the Seahawks, and to a lesser extent other teams, did.
AR holds all the cards. He's owed huge money three more years. I love AR. I think a window was missed in his prime by Green Bay. What a shame. And I like him off the field but Green Bay should have never extended him. Just like the Hags, a QB shouldn't hold you hostage. I would have had the balls to trade him.

He had his sad puppy eyes going again last night. He needs to reflect on his own play this time and not pass the buck.

Agree with all of this

I mean...the only time he won a SB was when he had a STACKED roided up defense.

Nowadays, he's too greedy to help build a winning franchise so that's on him.

Must be the Covid toe.

The Super Bowl where 16 players on the Packers were on IR. The Super Bowl where the best defensive player Charles Woodson was injured? All right

Can't stand the Packers, but I loved every single minute of their win over the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV and am happy the Steelers were stopped from getting #7.

I don't buy the greedy narrative at all. The Packers havent drafted well nor have they brought in any free agents to help him at all. Hell he lost his 2 best WRs in free agency and they hardly brought in anyone to help.

I'm not a fan of his at all but just looking in from the outside i get his frustration.

I can understand some of this, although he got a huge dose of guaranteed money for years two and three. The irony is that his back and forth and uncertainty was a huge part of Davante Adams' reasons for bolting.

There is no ending in my opinion he's owed like $50 mil next year, which he will not walk away from is my guess. He will use the threat of walking away to try and exert some roster control. He's already said he wants certain guys back or else he will retire but this is an empty threat is my guess.

PLEASE
Tail end of the Steroid era

Woodson was injured when it was 21-3 Packers.

Packer defense had 2 INTS AND A FORCED FUMBLE

Aaron had a bunch of incompletions, mostly due to dropped passes, BUT STILL GOT THE MVP?

and STILL almost lost.

Rogers has been nothing special in the biggest games the last few years. Chuck the ball to Adams only works when you have Adams. Packers kept the wrong guy.
That Packers dude in the tunnel acting like a toddler this is what happens you get so old it's like you are in charge of a daycare.. that's Rodgers team right now
