The eagles should have traded wentz at the start of the season

It's tough actually. I'd go after Rodgers, Wilson, or Watson, full well knowing those teams will say no. Considering they made the playoffs with Hurts, since it is unlikely they are able to get an upgrade through FA/draft, I'd focus on building the best team possible and run it back with Hurts while bringing in some healthy competition behind him.

Would they say no? Rodgers and Wilson are known to kinda want out of town, at least that's been the rumor. What if Wilson asks the club for a trade? They could keep him but if he's gonna be a malcontent I dunno. I mean wouldn't the Packers take 3 first rounders to move on from a 40 year old QB? The Pats moved on for zero first rounders. I think with that many first rounders those guys are in play maybe for just 2 first rounders really. Should be interesting to see how it unfolds.

I might be tempted to build around Hurts with someone like Mike Williams or DJ Moore. Maybe flip a #1 for one of those guys and use the two other picks. Hurts seems pretty cool I like his postgame presser he said year 3 starts tomorrow (this was after the game yesterday).

I mean Seattle is keeping Carroll/Schneider and have already come out and said they aren't trading him, no matter how bad Russ and his wife want out. Rodgers was available this offseason he even held out of the OTAs and the Packers didn't budge. Remember they tried to get us for tampering? It might be easier to swallow losing him if they win the Super Bowl this year, but they'll never live it down if he goes on to win a SB with his new team without delivering SB #2 to GB.
