He might be there at 36
Love me AJB and Deebo but Risner is a stud as well.

I could see this pick. It would be far from a bad pick too. Staley is getting older although he is still good. But you can never have enough depth at OT. Or enough youth and up coming guys for the future at that position too. This would be a great pick I think.

I'm having second thoughts, I love Risner and he was my guy at #36. Seeing some of the other talent is making me blink.
I am convinced he would come in and be a stud in the run game at both Tackle and Guard, I am however having some doubts at him against speed when he kicks out to Tackle.
Still up there, but head is being turned by Byron Murphy and DK who for me were surefire 1st round talents.
Also not sure what's going on with Jawaan Taylor, so much better than most of the other tackles to go so something must be amiss.

He has to be the pick if he's there man. Games are won in the trenches. There's absolutely no point of having superb playmakers if JG is running for his life, and playaction is a nonfactor if the running game is sh!t. Risner would solidify our OL right a way.

our run blocking was pretty damn good last yr....pass blocking needs to be better. Some of that is on the QB as well.

Run game was at best a tid above average last yr, I wouldn't considered it pretty damn good tho.

I'd pick him at 36, no questions asked. There most definitely will be WRs to pick from in the 3rd or just move back into the late 2nd for one.

Come on man. There were nobodies looking good running behind this line. With QB and RB injuries, the run game had every excuse to be a failure and yet it was a strength. The Glinch is already one of the best run blocking tackles. Not saying there elite but they are certainly better than 'a tid above avg'

I would not hate this pick. I thought he was almost as good as mcglichey coming out with more versatility

I'd be happy bolstering OL with #36. If this guy fits, get him. Gotta protect our Jimmy.
