Also, you can't hold, period. Within 5 yards and certainly not after 5 yards. You can jam and make physical contact within 5 yards in an effort to move a WR off their route but you can't hold. Defensive holding is one of the more common calls by officials (esp. today).
The non-call sprearing right before this play was just outlandish. IMHO, it was even more violent than this Saints non-call as it clearly had intent to injure (launching full weight with the crown of the helmet up through a player's face darn near knocking him out). It could be used as a textbook training clip today.
I don't get why people think the pass was uncatchable. The ball barely clears Crabs hands. Yea he's outstretched, but hes like 3 yrds in bounds lol. It is sad watching our rookie run that route compared to our "#1" back in 2012, though.
