This may have been covered but whats the deal if we cut him pre june 1 or post june 1? I doubt anyone would trade for anything worth while either. What are the savings?

Clearly, this guy is past his prime and is not worth the money to renew his contract. He shows flashes now and then but no longer consistent.
Need to trade him while he still has value.

Screenbo is held to a different standard by Kyle Shanahan from every other player.
He benches Brandon Aiyuk for Trent Sherfield because of whatever he was pissed off about in training camp, and won't play better receivers when they don't block.

Screenbo is allowed to not block. He's allowed to loaf on clearing routes. He's allowed to be the worst route runner in the history of professional football. He's allowed to mail it in after the catch until the team isn't in playoff contention.

They said the aren't cutting him. One of Shanny's favs. It's time for him to go. Pearsall will take his spot. If we cut or trade after March 23,dead cap hit is 31 mil. If we cut after June 1st, we save 15mil I think. There is an option bonus March 23rd. I haven't seen for sure but maybe a chance to trade him before then just to get a pick and save money. Long term.
