I think he's going to have a massive season, and there are going to be a lot of butthurt Niner fans on here(including me).
His 1, and only, massive season was 2021… so I'm skeptical, we shall see

Same. I said this the second anyone even mentioned the words trade Deebo months ago.
Deebo in a contract year and letting him walk for free afterwards > inconsequential draft pick

Funny thing is if he has a big year to prove "You should have gave me the ball more" doesn't prove anything other than his ineptitude and lack of ethic. Ayuik went down and you didn't show up JJ did, even Pearsall had a better outing later in the season. Deebo probably got "butt hurt" because he wasn't the center of attention. We didn't let you down Deebo you let yourself down along with us and now you have a vendetta to prove? Let him have a big year not our problem anymore we all know he'll take one last contract and be the 800 yard wr he is and decline from there

In all fairness, he would've had multiple thousand yard seasons if he wasn't injured (for say three games here or four games there). It's really disingenuous of people to say he's only had one 1000 yard season.
That would be like saying and often injured player isn't that great because he can never break 1000 yards when he certainly would've. Do better

He's had two 1000 yard seasons with rushing accounted but that's not worth the phat ass contract he was paid. Don't excuse this guy for his lack of effort, didn't live up to his contract and I really believe he didn't give it his all. He did just enough and collected a paycheckI want to love this guy, wish I can chalk it up to injuries like you are but the fact is he held out got paid then half assed his way through his contract while acting like spoiled brat. On top of all that he quit on us

If it wasn't worth it, what does this say about Kyle & Lynch's ability to evaluate talent?

Evaluate talent? Deebo had 1800 yards and 14 TDs in 21 when he got that contract. Why are you pointing fingers at them? He had talent not their fault he didn't put in the work to continue to get better but rather half assed it.

So he is worth it?
Im confused, he's only good if Kyle and Lynch sign him but now he's not worth it?

Are you asking was he worth the contract? What do you think? At the time absolutely he had the talent and I believe he had the potential to live up to the contract but he didn't put in the work to become a better WR he seemingly thought he would continue to thrive on pure athleticism but he wasn't even showing up in shape. Idk what your angle is putting blame on Kyle/Lynch. Deebo earned that contract but didn't for fill it by being lazy. I'm not calling him Albert Haynesworth lazy but you could see he thought he could just run sweeps and screen passes his whole career he didn't develop his craft at all even when you had Ayuik one of the best route runners in the league by your side to watch and learn from.

I agree. He had pneumonia which f**ks you up.
I never understood the hate against him. He carried us to the first Super Bowl loss vs KC and was playing four positions, WR, HB, KR and PR.

The entire team dropped off last season, not just Deebo.
Deebo is a stud, we will see how he looks this season in Washington.

Pneumonia is no joke especially as an athlete but that doesn't excuse 3 years of subpar production. I think you are mistaking about the super bowl that was 2019 he was a rookie. In 2021 he did legit almost carry us to the super bowl but garoppolo shat the bed in the nfc championship game against the rams. I remember seeing deebo walking into the tunnel crying after the game broke my heart. That year was amazing to watch him but its no excuse for his antics and ultimately giving up on us

Well he no longer has pneumonia and he is motivated.
Lets see how he does in Washington.
