I never understood the hate against him. He carried us to the first Super Bowl loss vs KC and was playing four positions, WR, HB, KR and PR.

Pneumonia is no joke especially as an athlete but that doesn't excuse 3 years of subpar production. I think you are mistaking about the super bowl that was 2019 he was a rookie. In 2021 he did legit almost carry us to the super bowl but garoppolo shat the bed in the nfc championship game against the rams. I remember seeing deebo walking into the tunnel crying after the game broke my heart. That year was amazing to watch him but its no excuse for his antics and ultimately giving up on us

Well he no longer has pneumonia and he is motivated.

Lets see how he does in Washington.

Why wasn't he motivated here?

Those other guys you mentioned had better seasons since the defenses focused on stopping Deebo Unless you are suggesting Brock didn't produce. Kittle had similar numbers to Deebo in 20, 21, and 22.

Brock had his worse year and still was 7th in QBR. The Kittle comparison isn't accurate. He played 8 games in 2020. Over a 16 game season, he would've had almost 1300 yards. In 2021 and 2022, he was hurt but still a reliable pass catcher and had 11 TDs in 2022. You cannot compare Deebo's numbers to Kittle. I think he may do better in Washington, but the fact is Kittle, Pearsall, and Jennings stepped up. Deebo stepped back.

Sucks cause he probably could have been a pretty good WR if he just became decent at routes, I'm sure there has to be some but I can't think of anything he got open on other than slants and crosses

The Kupp one is surprising. I knew he was on the decline but this is still surprising considering he was known in his prime to always find a way to get open.
