There is one big difference between Deebo and Kittle/Bosa. These are probably the same fans Deebo was talking about last week.

+ Show all quotes i go by what i see and what good reporters report and not what your boy john, we tepidly looked at this player. lynch says . , but i know that does not fit into the thinking of you and your little followers. you know.. the ones who set up on their high horse and decide the merit of critical comments directed to how lynch does his job
attacking people... maybe you should look in the mirror.but of course you are unable or unwilling to do so . all the times you have attacked people and yet you set up on your high horse lecturing to people. thank you for your opinion but you and it mean nothing to me

While you're talking race the big difference is position.
Bosa plays a position where you pay the man.
Kittle plays a position that even the best TEs get paid less than #3 WRs. So it's not financially crippling.
Deebo plays a position that you can scheme production out of and get immediate production from rookies especially in a draft class like this one.

So you draft a player. Develop that player. The player becomes what you envisioned him to be but refuse to pay him as such. Doesn't make any sense.
You cannot possibly be okay with paying a guy like Kittle who is always missing games due to injury but not be okay with paying a guy like Deebo because he has missed games due injury without there being some ulterior motive.

It can't be that easy to scheme production out of the WR position since we haven't had a WR come close to Deebo's production in the last 20 years.

I already offered my take earlier. My take on Deebo had nothing to do with injury.
I agree if you question Deebo's injury then you should too question Kittles. However, Kittle signed his extension before he missed significant time. He signed in August of 2020. Missed 3 games in 3 years. Then the injuries hit him the 2020 season

I'm all for paying Deebo top 5 WR money. But I will/would respect him a lot more if he did a sit in like TJ Watt did. That's the classy way to handle yourself. Participate in all meetings, but refuse to step on the field. Continue to be a good teammate while reminding management that you want to get paid. Staying away all together is a poor way of doing it.
I live In eastern Ohio 40 minutes west of Pittsburgh. That is my local sports talk station. There were talks of players didn't particularly care for that either. They're out there busting their butts while he was watching. I believe I remember hearing some preferred he stayed away.
So damned if you do damned if you don't. As a fan I'd rather he sit in.

Exactly. Yet in 2018 Kyle's 1st year we were top half of the league in passing (14th) with Pettis,, Garcon, Bourne and Goodwin as our top 4 WRs.
