Here's a speculation, maybe they flat out told Deebo they're not going to resign him? Deebo and Bosa are demanding 25-30mil QB money, if you have to choose one, you choose the pass rusher. They say the point of having a cheap QB is to be able to sign/resign player's. What if those players are paid QB money? Isn't that the same dilemma of having a expensive QB?

I know, 25m+30m for Deebo and Bosa respectively. I'm saying they probably choose to sign Bosa.
