Look, I think most of us, rationally and with the emotion of the past week behind us, would rather he stay, sign a contract, play like a beast, and help us capture number six. But his actions in the social media arena, his unwillingness to say whether he wants to stay or go, and the circus around the situation continues to point towards him not being with us moving forward. I wish it was otherwise, but it is not. If he does stay, and you are looking for a silver lining, Scottie Pippen remained on the final Bulls title team--though he missed time with an injury--and helped them win.

If he stays, maybe it is his last dance. But, I got to tell you brothers and sisters, it sure does not feel that way today. It feels like he is already gone. Whether the Niners accept that and decide to rationally get the most for him that they can is the remaining question. We will find out in a few more hours.

Lol... why so emotional?

He wants to get pay, pay him with Jimmy's money.

Easy peasy. Jimmy is leaving any way. That was the 9er FOs plan all along lol.. especially once Trey was drafted.

Because emotion and reason are the bedrocks of human existence.

See I think we would be more interested in a next year #1. Rather than both their firsts this year

And I personally have no interest in trading the guy who carried our offense and is supposed to be a key player in our Super Bowl aspirations for a future draft pick that cannot help now. Zero interest. I dont want to trade Deebo at all, but if we were able to get a top prospect now, it would at least hopefully help make up for some of what we miss without Deebo.

If he gets traded, the pick have to be a impact player either on Def or Off, and not a reshirt rookie/bust. Lynch better have his big boy pants on and not whiff!

There is none. They didn't even look into it. Because they're waiting on dumping Jimmy to pay Deebo if it comes to that.

Why do you want the 49ers to be worst?

Deebo doesn't want to be here. So I want the Niners to get the max in return they can and move on. It's pretty simple.

Not when it doesn't concern your livihood. If it's about winning, they need to keep deebo at all cost really.

Anyway here is a karmic rule people should live by, if there is money concerning someone else and it doesn't concern you, you shouldn't ever worry about it or in any way plot against it, because to block someone else's money and or fortune is bad karma. Jimmy is actually doing just that by having his surgery late on purpose so once he is gone, he might not do well with his new team because he actually already blocked himself and incurred bad karma.. aka never try to block or block someone else money or fortune that's has already been fated.

Given Deebo's physical playing style, he'll probably start to decline after five years, the prospect of keeping him under his current deal and then tagging him the following season isn't the end of the world. He is acting like a diva, though, so he could bring a negative vibe to the locker room and/or cook up some phantom injury. I love him as a player but, frankly, would be concerned giving him a long-term contract at this point. Aside from the injury risk, he's shown he'll throw his team under the bus. He's also not that bright, because he would be a well-compensated star in SF. Not so sure that will be the case with the NY Jets or some other struggling franchise that will have the picks and cap space to make a trade. I'd take the Colin Cowherd trade, or just ruthlessly squeeze two more years at the lowest possible cost and then let him hit free agency.
At the end he is only a WR that turned into a Diva.
There are more premier positions that we could fill with a nice trade package (EDGE, C, CB).
I feel getting an good to very good EDGE and a C for the future is premier to having an pissed Diva that only wants to play WR.
Not going to lie. I keep looking at the Giants five and seven and wish they'd smoke some crack and gave up those two up for him. Fill OL and DL. Championships are won in the trenches!

Cowherd's trade proposal is very reasonable considering the situation.

Is any other team offering more than that? I could see a contender potentially offering 2 1sts but I don't think 2 late 1sts is better than that package.

That is your opinion. Certainly, they rationally believe they need him. It is simple logic, Jim. BUT, they do not emotionally have to commit to him at all. And if he, emotionally has decided, I am done. Then it does not matter, now does it?

Reason and emotion, emotion and reason, my man. They are intertwined in all of the things we do. In fact, you could continually argue a point of view that you deem reasonable, but that really demonstrates your emotional commitment to an idea that is in fact wrong. Yet, you feel that you are being reasonable, when, in fact, you are not. You are being emotional.

For the record, I think a good bit of both is necessary to survive.
