Brady has more SB's than any franchise. I don't think there's a debate anymore.

Best QB for his era hands down

Any era hands down.

This stopped being a debate after number 5. People still think hes not the GOAT? I get being a homer, but this is taking it to another level

Is he the best football player to ever play? I think that's a better debate. Best qb should not even be debated but is there any player that would be worth trading prime brady for prime xxxxx other player?

ALL I have to say is that he is the BEST QB in his era.. PERIOD !!

but I don't think he can be as good as had he been playing in the 80s and 90s while JOE will be even GREATER at this era..

He's been to 10 and won 7 joe won 4 with a juggernaut of a team that was helped by having no salary cap. Its not really close anymore even at 5 it was debatable 6 and 7 sealed it.

Exactly, no matter the era, Brady is the GOAT! Stop with the disclaimers!
I lived and died with Joe while he was with the 49ers and Chiefs but what Brady has done is in another galaxy.

Being the best quarterback ever doesn't involve losing 3 Super Bowls like Tom Brady did. It also doesn't involve being a game manager for multiple SBs and letting your kicker win it instead of beating down teams like Joe Montana did. Brady also was embarrassing against the rams. No tds and 13 whole points.
Also Joe Montana did not have much talent around him the first two Super Bowls on offense yet everybody makes the hilarious assumption that he had some juggernaut of an offense. Tom Brady had three pro bowl receivers in this Super Bowl and his defense won it for him in at least 3 SBs now. Not to mention the tuck rule.....that was a SB that should of been the raiders advancing. It's hilarious how people try to argue about the non salary cap when the teams in the 80s were so much better. They were dynasties. Brady can't even beat Eli Manning at the Giants with Randy moss and Wes Welker yet Joe Montana can lay 55 points on the number one defense and beat John Elway Dan Marino Like it's nothing.

Not to mention the rules favor the quarterback so much in this age. Joe Montana would never lose to Nick Foles or Eli Manning and he would sure as hell score a lot more points on those teams then Tom Brady did..

anyways this is common sense but people like to argue without that. Now if they just said Tom Brady is the best quarterback and the goat at staying healthy and playing 20 years that's one thing but Montana won 4 Super Bowls in less time than Tom Brady did. This is just a matter of staying healthy for longer. So good for Brady. He is still my second favorite quarterback ever and I love his attitude. But the greatest quarterback of all time does not lose three Super Bowls. I guess I just have higher standards no big deal.

He's got a shot at Doubling Montanas 4 next season. Doubling.

Cool good for him. He's also got a shot at doubling the years Montana has played. Doubling

In 7 years, he has been to 5 Super Bowls, and won 4, since turning 37, an age when most qbs are on the downside of their career or retired. Joe won 4 in 8 years and was in his prime for most of that time.

I see you conveniently cherry picked the years you wanted to. I was referring to when they started their careers. Joe Montana won 4 Super Bowls quicker than Tom Brady did. If you want to do it that way I can play that game too. The goat does not miss winning a Super Bowl in 10 years like Brady did. Again Brady went 10 years without winning a Super Bowl. Montana didn't even come close to that.

Again Brady is fortunate the rules are so different and he wasn't getting broken and concussed and so on. Most importantly, he wasn't playing against defenses like the Bears the Giants and so on that were allowed to destroy quarterbacks. This is a known fact and good for Brady for staying healthy longer. But then again there are so many quarterbacks that are playing into their late 30s and soon to be early 40s that this fact is undisputed. This did not happen when Montana was playing with any quarterbacks.

That's why it's so hard to compare eras. You really think Brady is still playing at 37+ in the late 80's and 90's, let alone winning 4 SB's?

I agree that Brady's the GOAT, but your argument can swing against Brady if someone wants to argue that perspective.
