At what point does the NFL implement punishment for teams that gamble on a known DV abuser and he relapses. IMO there should be a harsh penalty for teams that take that risk.
Makes sense. It should be the league that suspends/ cuts ties with a repeat offending player and not the team. As far as Foster goes, if the 49ers are losing a player due to morality/abusive behavior issues then I don't see why another team should benefit from it (like Washington). If the league imposed the ban or suspension then if a player is cleared, he should return to the team which he was cut from and off limits to the rest of the league since he is under contract.
Admittedly this is from a disgruntled fan which saw his team give up a first round player and get nothing but a hole on the roster in return for (probably unwisely) putting faith in the player .

Good for him hopefully he's learned from this setback and go on to have a good career.

They all say they learned a lesson. Unfortunately few do. That's the NFL, if you can play they'll sign you no matter what. Unless your name is Kaepernick.

Why? The NFL have tolerated this stuff for years, the only reason Ray Rice got banned, or anyone cared about Hunt or Joe Mixon was because they were caught on camera.
The NFL has no moral compass, it's all about their product, I truly believe they only cared about running Kap out of town because he was seen as bad for business.

I don't think you can blame the NFL for that, it's a social problem. Tyreek Hill is treated like a superstar, even though he punched his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach.
Yet people burn Nike equipment because they featured Kap in an advert.

It's hard to suspend people without proof. Much like in the case of Foster typically the girl recants her story and refuses to cooperate. That's why video is needed.

Me too. He made a minor mistake. Life is full of forgiveness. Bless him.

He kicked her as hard as a 3 year old kicks.
dont know why everyone is obsessing on that kick. To me, the worst part of the video is when he barrels through everyone and one of the girls hits the wall hard. That to me is what he should be scrutinized over

Im gonna reserve judgment, b'cuzz as of now there has been more to the story as to WHY he kicked the girl. I DONT CONDONE ANY VIOLENCE VS. ANY GENDER!! Let me be clear! But in light of the recent events of women saying they got hit (by regular men and athletes) only to get caught LYING gives me pause. The QB from Florida st. was kicked out of school and off the team- only to have da bit@h try and recant and apologize(because he wanted to break up with her and she got mad, lied and possibly-ruining his career). And from what I hear, the girl wasn't sooo innocent in all this, so im gonna reserve judgement until all facts come out. The Browns must've taken a similar approach too. And for those that believe "no woman shud be hit back", or you "outweigh her by 50lbs walk away", yatta yatta yah- take The Red Pill, and get outta here with your simp beta male blue pill bullcrap! You're the type of guys that believe a woman cant do any wrong, only to find out; "You are not the father", "A man divorces his wife after years is scum, a woman leaves her husband after years is "liberated", and masculinity shud be sequestered. Stop drinking the kool aid fellas
