Jackson threw for 360+ yards and ran for 140+ more. The only thing that was figured out is that their offense isn't as successful in the redzone when Ingram isn't out there to force defenses to choose to stop one or the other.

That offense will be figured out, just like the west coast offense was figured out. (Zone blitz) that doesn't mean that the offense is a bad offense. All offenses has their strong points and weak points. Just from my layman's viewpoint, the problem with that offense is a lack of fast strike power. Get ahead of them to where they have to pass more than run, and they become vulnerable. Also the QB takes some really hard hits. Etc...

Roman got cute and abandoned the run from the jump . 59 throws by Lamar not expected from the best rushing team in the league
John had that stupid Harbaugh look on his face all game, knowing there was nothing he could do about it.

Yeah Jackson should never have to throw that much in games. The true stats was Jackson actually had 72 drop back attempts. Some he got sacked on and some he was forced to run.

They got down 14-0 very early. That's what happens. They played way too aggressive overall though. Going for it in their territory in the 1st, not taking a fg that could of made it 14-9.

He did throw for 360 yards on.... wait for it... 59 pass attempts. That's 6 yards per attempt which is not good. To add, those yards came in garbage time, I would say they figure out something.

When you get down that early your QB needs to be efficient from the pocket.

It got figured out, take away the TEs/middle of the field and force Jackson to have to look outside the hashmarks to make a play. Sure they had some big plays via backyard ball but no way even with Ingram they werent going to on the winning end until Jackson proved he could consistently make plays on the outside. Not to mention that Henry took their souls so they were pretty much f*cked after one interception and couldnt immediately respond.
They got punched in the mouth a few times and responded like a chicken with its head cut off. Then Henry dropped the chicken into the deep fryer. Then everyone ate at the Bank after they saw Ingram and Big Truss.

West Coast offense never got figured out.

Every time a mobile QB loses in the playoffs it's about getting "figured out". They didn't execute and they lost, same thing that's happened to the WCO many times over in the playoffs

They really should have stuck to the run. Down 2 scores early is nothing. No excuse for the amount of times Lamar dropped back

They got caught falling behind, hence all those passes. They never really faced that during their 12 game win streak. And so in the playoffs they found themselves in a really unfamiliar position.

The 49ers, on the other hand, have the multidimensional offense to go vertical with new orleans, ground and pound with green bay, etc. Baltimore's offense was just to one dimensional in the playoffs. I hear vrabel used a lot of 8 man fronts against Lamars RPO. I thought that was a brilliant strategy against a team that set a season rushing record this year.

They dont execute because there is another team preventing them from executing. It's not rocket science. Its blocking and tackling.
