Brother Harbaugh is just as ignorant as Jim

It's looking very likely that a 49ers & Baltimore super bowl May happen again
The option offense is grueling and brutal , but it can weaken and fatigue even the strongest of defenses.

Injury to your qb or a fumble is more possible but I haven't seen Jackson do any fumbling so far.

True. He has been under pressure a lot because of a poor O line. Even with his scrambling ability he gets sacked a lot. He's built really thick so he can absorb the punishment but sooner or later the legs go.
I didn't think Lamar Jackson would be able to pass in this league, he's proving me wrong.

But he might be the best athlete I've ever seen, especially at QB. It's incredible

I havent really seen anyone hit him yet. He is really exposed running the option but most players have pulled up. Not sure if from confusion of not know responsibility real well or they are afraid to get fined?

I think that will change when its playoff situation but imo lamar is good enough from the pocket to overcome a lot and they should go far in the afc
First 16 career starts

Wins
Lamar Jackson (13)
Patrick Mahomes (12)

Rush Yds
Lamar Jackson (1,258)
LaDainian Tomlinson (1,236)

Passer Rtg
Lamar Jackson (94.4)
Tom Brady (90.1)

Yds per Att
Lamar Jackson (7.6)
Aaron Rodgers (7.5)

Comp Pct
Lamar Jackson (63%)
Drew Brees (61%)
If he stays healthy he'll do some real damage to their opposition.

Eventually teams will figure ways to crimp his style. Teams have started to figure out Mahomes.

He'll still be effective but not as much as now.

Did you watch that gimmicky run Russ made to hand us our 1st loss that our lead-footed QB simply doesnt have the ability to make?

That didn't win them the game though. He was actually held in check pretty well.

big players make big plays at crunch time. wilson did. game over, after we thought a 20 second drive would be nice
Roman may end up being a head coach pretty soon here the way he's got them going.

yet no one gave a sh*t about him when he ran his offense in Buffalo. Alot has to do with the talent around his scheme. Imagine if he had Trubisky or Dalton to work with lol.

To be fair he was getting thrown under the bus in Buffalo by Rex Ryan in order to cover up his brothers incompetence as a DC.
I don't understand why we couldn't stack the box hard and use a spy on Lamar.....shut down their running game/his scrambling and put it on his arm.

Make him beat you the same way teams are asking Jimmy to beat them. Even though Jimmy has been able to make teams pay, it isn't ideally what we want out of our offense. Until Jimmy is throwing 5 TDs quick to destroy defenses, it's still a semi-effective strategy to use against the 49ers.

Sure we're exposing our defense to some plays, but it would be limited. Meanwhile Lamar is going to have to drop back and beat us throwing it over and over again. Not sure he's been made to do that just yet.

Kap looked much better in the playoffs than Lamar has so far. No MVP consideration in the slightest for Kap, yet even that Seattle game wasn't as embarrassing as to what the Chargers did to Lamar in January.

He seems better now, yes, but how much better?

Lamar can move in the pocket something Kap struggled with and he has touch and accuracy something Kap never developed. Kap was a good downhill runner and had a rocket arm that he was willing to put on display whether it was a 50 yard bomb or screen pass.
