Lets just hope Ford can play this Sunday without practice like Bosa did. The only difference is, is that Bosa didn't leave the game after re-aggravating it in week 1.
Really hope it isn't as bad as people are making it, i did read that the chiefs had him as a LP in practice for pretty much the whole season. Niners wouldn't have signed this dude without knowing about the injury and they for sure knew what they were getting themselves into. I pulled up his contract and seen this:

5YRS / 85.5MM (33.35MM guaranteed)

His dead cap per year is
19.75MM
6.40MM
4.80MM
3.20MM
1.60MM

They knocked off 21MM of the 33.35MM guaranteed this year with all the bonuses and such.

I assume they know Dee's knee wont hold up until the end of his contract, that's why they gave him so much this year since they had the money to do so, they minimized the dead cap for the following years just in case. Atta boy Paraag

If he can't, let's hope Blair can have another game similar to last week. It will be tougher because both Steeler OTs are good at PP.

The forecast for Sunday is 86 degrees. In that heat, with the 49ers rotating DL, we should be able to wear down the Steeler as the game moves into the second half. Sack time!

The way Paraag does contracts, it does benefit the Niners. It can also benefit the player. If I'm a player I want my lump sum of the contract up front too. Anything can happen in football wether it's an injury or you just continue to ball out and receive another front loaded contract.

I'm sure they knew about his knee but his contract is in line with how they done all recent FA signings. Ton of cash upfront in the 1st 2 years od the contract

Dee ford has a minor injury and is most likely gonna play this game and the rest of the season but apparently you guys just want to complain about everything. If it's not saleh its bosa, if its not him its armstead if its not him it's ward if its not him its solomon thomas. It's always something. Nobody can enjoy back to back road blowout wins. You want to bash ford for a minor injury that a lot of players get. After ford dominates who's the next player/coach you all want to bash? mcglinchey? sherman? Brieda? whose next on the list?

Shame you weren't here during the Alex Smith days.

Heh, those were the good 'ol days!

Other than OT, I don't see ShanaLynch spending a first rounder on interior linemen in the 2020 draft.

He's dealt with the same thing in KC...he never practiced much there from what I've read. I'm all for giving him the load management routine throughout the yr. He's got no reason to be in on 1st or 2nd and long IMO either. We have a couple good DE that can defend the run.

He should be our speed rusher and nothing more. Get pressure on the QB, hit the QB, sack the QB, make the QB fumble. I don't care about him setting the edge.

I think they go WR in the first.
