Jimmy still being on the books effects how they can get a deal done with Bosa and Deebo. They would have to restructure several guys to get them extended while Jimmy is under contract. Not to mention you can take some of Jimmy's money and front load one of their contracts. Without Jimmy you may only need to restructure one guy. I don't Bosa is worried about an extension now. He's gonna put up another great year and his price tag will be to make him the highest paid defender in the league. Deebo has more urgency being a 2nd round pick

I'm not going to argue with you because I'm far from an expert but in two separate 49ers podcasts I listened to yesterday they both eluded to Nick and Deebo being extended can be done with jimmy on the books WITHOUT restructuring guys like you're saying.

If Nick's cap hit is around 10 million on the season his prorated signing bonus would come in below that on the cap hit for this year. I think they says Deebo's is around 3 million and it would likely be in that area.

I'm not expert either bro. Hope those guys are correct

No it doesn't. There is a plan bank it. If nothing occurs trade wise by a certain date he will be cut. He will not be on this team period by pre-season to screw with Trey and the locker room. I hope he is not even on the sidelines for voluntary coming up what next week? Stay in Beverly Hills please.

Instead of complaining about him always being on the sideline I'll appreciate him for 19 and being part of a fun D-line to watch shame we couldn't get more than one season out of him.

Which we will, once he can pass a physical.

Can't wait until he is off the roster, sucks he had his injuries, but we can't keep kicking money down the road on him, and we just need to bite the bullet and get him off the roster.

OTC says Weston Richburg's dead cap hit is at 3 million. Man, I can't believe we are still dealing with Weston's contract. At least Dee Ford's dead cap is done by the end of next year.

OTC says $8.6 in 2023. But that is dead cap vs savings. Lombardi may have misread the web page.

Dee has $8.5M in dead money left when cut post June 1, they save $1.12M in cash, $225K cap room, which will help sign their picks, the Alex Mack number is his prorated bonus, if he retires after June 1, they save $5M cash, $4.105M cap, this is all due to the top 51 rule.
