Yeah, that's about right. That's why the 30% base snaps aren't really a big deal.

I'd be more than ok with this. Though, with Ford manning the Leo now, Allen would be ideal as a Sam in base and bookend in Nickel

This trade reminds me of the charles haley deal to dallas. A team needing a pass rusher and ended up putting them over the top. If Ford can bring the same production he had in KC to SF, we are in business.

I can't see the team giving up on Thomas this quickly.....but Bosa did play LDE, so maybe the line looks like this:
Bosa----Buckner---NT----Ford (Leo).
This would, in essence, bench two first round DL in Thomas and Armstead.
